The Stallings era offense was so often painful to watch. I love defensive battles, but it was nerve-wracking to feel like the team could hardly afford to give up any points at all. Then those same feelings resurfaced in the Shula era, especially late 2004 and 2005.

You have a senior QB who has started since his freshman year and a senior backfield with Williams and Lynch. And then with Homer Smith as the OC, you have the chance to really open up the offense. Bama should have made more plays like this !
