Mine has 11 years and it is my most beloved piece of gear. For concerts, filmmaking and even for garage sells it has so many uses. Las t week, I bought the multipocket bag and the cart extension rack.
Good video! I've been using the R10 for 2 years on a daily basis. Pros: It's an awesome cart, no way I could make it without it - and yes I do recommend it for anyone needing to haul gear around. Quick, easy to use not to heavy. Cons: Within the 1st 6-8 mos one of the front wheels broke while trying to maneuver over a cracked sidewalk. I replaced it with the heavy duty wheels which have been great and well worth the upgrade! Now (at 2 years) both back wheels are wobbling as if they're going to fall off. As it turns out the PLASTIC barings inside the wheels are broken. I just ordered replacement rear wheels $40! Not happy.. but have not found a better choice..
I've got a Rock and Roller cart with the 10X3 rear wheels. The plastic hub part of one of the wheels that goes on the axle completely shattered and broke off from the rest of the wheel. Seems like a cheap low-quality wheel. This cart was going to be thrown away at work, so I claimed it for myself. The price for two replacement wheels is now up to $60.00. Kind of crazy, but I do get a Rock and Roller cart for $60.00.
I've got a Rock and Roller cart with a broken 10X3 rear wheel. The plastic hub part of the wheel completely broke off from the rest of the plastic wheel. (Cheap cost-cutting wheel.) This cart was going to be thrown away at work so I claimed it for myself. Two replacement 10 x 3 plastic wheels are now going for $60.00. On the other hand, I get my own somewhat used Rock and Roller cart for $60.00.
Get yourself Clevis pins and spring Cotter pins in the right length/diameter for fastening the top shelf. It's a lifesaver! I forgot the dimension, but you can hit me up and I'll measure mine.
The R16 is just heavier, the arms still wobble. I have both the R6RT and R16 and the R6RT glide is the one I use on almost all projects because its smaller/lighter and works just as well.
Thank you for this review. I almost bought three R8 until I saw the wheels on this. Knowing that I sometimes need to set up my photo-booth on grass with my canopy, I know this will be the cart for me. After watching this, I ordered it. Thanks again. Hopefully they addressed the hole issue that you mentioned since you did this video.
Thank you for the review. I enjoyed watching it. I'm not sure if I will get the Rock N Roller but it offers a lot of bang for the buck. A Magliner Senior is about $1500. Then there is the Innovative cart which is the price of a 5D mark IV.
Female clamping knobs instead of wingnuts. I actually built my own tabletop that fastens through the holes in the top of the handles. I used engine oil to lube. Cargo net instead of bungees.
Just take the bolts into the hardware store. Order the cargo nets from eBay. I have figured out how to secure without using the hooks. You can see all of this stuff on my channel (not blatantly plugging my channel). Just search for DANDY DJ rock n roller cart.
0:05 into the video & already see something I dont like. The handle how it is means...... you either Walk/pull "kinda Beside" the cart to spare your ankles from being destroyed , OR make tiny short steps pulling normal. Its not a natural good pull. I absolutley would either add me a confortable rope towards the bottom, centered, or extend that handle so it comes back a little away from the cart, to allow normal steps when pulling.
I have the R8 Don't know what the difference is but mine opens up as long as that one I put the bottom shelf on with no problem No hardware whatsoever The top shelf takes maybe 2 minutes No problem What took 5 to 7 trips is now just 1 trip $250 Well worth it I sometimes use it as my dj table and works awesome Buy it
These are very fast but cannot hold much force so ...when there is much force on these it will not work but fur sure it is a quick lock and unlock for cymbals on a drumnkit. They are cheap so ...you can do an experiment with them and if required use a normal nut just to lock it. ttps://www.vanderglas.nl/tama-quick-lock-cymbal-mate-blauw-4-stuks-077taqc8bb4
The cable to collapse the handle to my R14 broke and I'm told that I can't just get a replacement part to do my own repair, but I have to buy 2 complete handle assemblies which will cost in the neighborhood of $50 with shipping. Customer service said they won't sell me the repair part but to go to a local hardware store. Had I known about this poor design, I wouldn't have bought this cart.
My R12 has really bad "wobbly wheel" syndrome (like the bad shopping carts)---so bad that it's impossible to push it without the wheels wobbling crazily when there's nothing on it. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hi. Could be that the one wheel is not level with the others on the ground. It is not touching the ground completely. So when rolling, it contacts the ground intermittently causing a wobble. May be that the chassis frame is bent. To test this theory, find a level surface, maybe a table or kitchen counter. Park your R12 there and observe if one wheel is not making contact. Roll it around. Then add some gear onto the cart for downward pressure to see what this does. That could be the cause. The solution is… not sure. Try research online for, wobbling wheel on grocery cart”. Have a great jay.

Can you list the dimensions please.
It's going to be 2 weeks, as I'm not in town right now.@@stanleymays3824
You can use a ring detent pin it’s a quick release pull pin with a locking ball bearing at the end!

I walked through a hardware store and saw something that looked perfect
Clevis pin and a hitch clip

Thanks great video. Shorter locking pins might work, or add a spacer bushing
Thanks so much for this! I'm on the fence between the Krane AMG 750 and this. That off-road demonstration was badass! Might go with the RocknRoller.
Thorough and honest review. Thanks for posting!
Hey thanks for making this video. I'm like you, carrying lots of gear around and this looks like the ticket.
Female clamping knobs instead of wingnuts.
I actually built my own tabletop that fastens through the holes in the top of the handles.
I used engine oil to lube.
Cargo net instead of bungees.
That makes sense. Nice thinking. Now, I just need to order the right size... :0

Anywhere you’ve shared your design Nick?
So after 4 years how is it holding up. The general consensus is thar the arms tend to bow or bend over time . Your experience
Can you put powered speakers or portable subs on it? Is it stable enough to carry those?

Did you keep the cart? Any other option you found?
à quelle hauteur du sol est l'étagere ? merci
Thanks for taking time to make this review..... very useful !
spacers on the pinned bolts.
I have the R8
Don't know what the difference is but mine opens up as long as that one
I put the bottom shelf on with no problem
No hardware whatsoever
The top shelf takes maybe 2 minutes
No problem
What took 5 to 7 trips is now just 1 trip
$250
Well worth it
I sometimes use it as my dj table and works awesome
Buy it
When you use it as your dj table how much does it move?
Super helpful, thanks!
i have a problem rock-n-roller cart : i cant contract it in! is tuck!
Great review.

Pianists are screwed here it's too short for an 88key digital with case

Did you resolve this?
@@anonymissed3611 No, I just lift up the wobbly wheel side if there’s nothing on it, lol.
The R16 would be fine but my gosh, it's heavy. My r10 is heavy enough, not too bad. I can carry heavy stuff, but I don't want to if I don't have to.
thanks
But will it hold a 10 piece double bass drum set with power tom sizes? No, no it won't.
"Pretty dang small"
+Downtown Joe Brown You like that ? :0
