greetings from the Philippines period this feature is also available on Android for like more than a year now. the future can be found on TalkBack settings then you go to describe and then you turn on describe image and describe text.
Yeah I didn't know that but by default it is on and it doesn't work the greatest so that's why I didn't notice it voice-overs is way better but I'm sure with all this AI stuff they will quickly both be even
@@TheBlindSightedPerspective I've been writing a custom text-based game engine that uses Voice Over on iOS and TalkBack on Android. Currently I'm still working on the VoiceOver features in the iOS version, but will then aim to start testing TalkBack on Android as well.
@@TheBlindSightedPerspective any suggestions on best practices for including sound? My concern is that it would be distracting or potentially interfere with VoiceOver, or get annoying. Any suggestions of what’s worked well for you?

Great work bro. As a game developer, this is super inspiring.
Thanks for watching I wish Android had something like it

I would like to note after iOS version 16 screen recognition has worked a little less well
I would hope you can add music and sound effects text alone is okay but games with sound really elevate the experience
