Lateley I've been watching a lot of CiottiFPV streams. He is crazy about whoops and tests a whole bunch of stuff. Ciotti is on a 2S 75mm hype right now. They are 4g heavier and have crazy power. My 75mm rcinpower 0802 25000kv on 1S is already on the limit of what power I can still handle inside. It makes no sense unless outside. Same goes for the 2S meteor85 build. Defenitly not for flying in your lounge. Maybe in a bigger industrial office mall building
What about the other way then. 15g 1s whoop, with 260 batteries. I have "modified" the antenna on the mobula 2024, to make it more durable. And can recommend this modification after 50-100 crashes.. Really wanted to try with the 260 batteries if i find any of those. As flight time is not a problem. 4 minutes of hovering is more then i need. I chose durability over flight time if i can. Was thinking, is it possible to make new bushings on a SE0702 engine. As those i have now seem to have wear out..
So do you mean in terms of durability? 65mm whoops are quite durable when they are under 18g. The only problem is the elongated lipos which tend to get damaged at the front. It's better with the 270mah and 260mah Lipos because they are shorter. Yes, the bushings break down faster than the ball bearings. Replacing is not possible. At least I've never seen anyone replace them.
@butterflyfpv Yes, in terms of durability. I still have not destroy a battery with a crash. But im also pressing them as far back as possible every time i change. And it looks like the front engines are working harder then the rear. To judge of the wear in bushings. I will take a look at the possibility to change bushings when the time comes. Of course the producers would like you to buy a new engine instead of a new bearing or bushing.
