Probably one of my favorite episodes from Weakest Link, specifically because of the 2 chains banked. Congrats on the win Brian. How was it being on the show?
This is one of the episodes where there was more money up for grabs than on a few of Anne Robinson's prime time version, and there was a potential prize of $1 million!
@@martingardner9124Anne Robinson seemed a bit more ruthless, while having a good sense of humor. I don't know about Jane Lynch though since I didn't watch much of the newer one.
Honestly, I think the biggest problem with the current Jane Lynch run of Weakest Link actually started in this era: the elimination of the last cash-building round before the final shootout. It actually changes the dynamic significantly.
Belated congrats, Brian. You beat me fair and square (I was Contestant #2, Gregory). Boy, did I give some bad answers! I remember you saying you were going to buy a house with your winnings...did you?
I actually think ironically you may have saved him from a possible vote-off in the final round. He got the Washington question wrong right after you blew the chain so if you had gotten that car question right, he would have blown $25k. You all did very well though throughout the game.
RSully94 The further irony here is that I was born in Detroit-and, if I recall, the final answer was “Motown,” wasn’t it? That one left a mark! Too painful to re-watch😳.
And it's actually the second highest percentage of the top prize ever won, highest is a win of over £7000 on the UK daytime version with a top prize of 10k.
Funnily enough, he went from saying a famous game show quote that contestants don’t wanna hear (“you are the weakest link, goodbye”) to one contestants do wanna hear (“come on down”)

Well I’ll get straight to the point: do you think you are a good person? You might have thought about it before, or you might have not. But your answer is probably yes. Now the rest of this might get personal, but remember, I can’t see-or hear you reading this, so don’t worry. Now let’s have a look at the Ten Commandments. You don’t have to believe in the Bible to take this quiz: Have you ever stolen something? Yes no Have you ever looked with lust? Yes no Have you ever used the Lord/Jesus/Christ/God’s Name as a swear word? Yes no Have you ever told a lie? Yes no You probably answered Yes to, at least, two of those. There are six more. A bit of math would tell you that (10 divided by 2 =5) , out of the Ten Commandments, on average you probably answered Yes to five of them. Do you still think you are a good person? Now I’m doing this because I care about you. You could die at any moment. Your heart may stop right now. And I’d like to see all of you in Heaven. I don’t want you to go to…to...to...to…what was it again? Was it perhaps hell? We have all sinned. Nobody is perfect or worthy in God’s sight. In fact, the only way our sins could be forgiven, was if we offered sacrifices practically every day. We all sin every day. We look with lust, we lie, we blaspheme, we swear and we steal without giving it a second thought. Imagine all those sin and guilt offerings we would have to offer… but we don’t have to. Because God sent His one and only Son Jesus, to die for us on the cross as THE sin offering so that whoever BELIEVES in Him will be forgiven and have eternal life. He took all the sins that will ever be on Himself. He paid the price; i.e. He’s the Person who paid the fine for the stack of offences on the Judges(God’s) desk, so He could let you go. That is how great His Love and Mercy for you is. He has no reason to spare you, apart from His abounding Love and Mercy. You just have to accept His forgiveness, repent, get baptised and turn to Him. Congratulations on Weakest Link Brian!
George Gray asked a question about his current game show Price is right
@Steve Kay Exactly, it wasn't until 2010 George Gray became announcer for The Price is Right, at that time it was still Rod Roddy or Rich Fields.
Actually, in 2011 he was the current announcer of The Price Is Right.
@Bobby Funderburke Thanks for the info.

I get the feeling the contestants in the syndicate version of Weakest Link did a lot better than those on Prime Time Weakest Link with Anne Robinson
