Yeah you were listening to the shortened version I think because there's a part in the song talking about how he never knew his father. Kind of a powerful part. But it wasn't in your reaction. Weird how some people seem to get that version when they react. Anyways hope all is well.
This song is what coined the term 'being a "stan". I.e. the common slang for crazy fans of some person or celebrities
Why man why why why did you listen to the censored version? It completely ruins it and censors all the important bars. Plus it isnt even the music video so you couldn't see what's going on. You really need to react to the uncensored music video please.

Cuda Hitz i know quite a few reactors channels have had videos of Eminem blocked, it seems to be that you need to have over 10k followers before they allow it! Keep going though mate you are doing good 👍🏼
Stan was entered into the dictionary because of this exact song. When someone calls you a stan of a certain artist, well its from this story haha

Oh man! You totally missed the full experience listening to the censored version and not watching the actual video. Bevause its like watching a film. The acting by Devon Sawa playing the obsessed fan is SO FREAKING GOOD!

And man alive it was annoyibg havibg so many words cut out due to it being censored. I could understand if this was a kid reaction to eminem. But when your hearing it tmfor the first time. You need it fresh and raw and untouched and watch the actual official videos.
And to answer your question. No Stan is not a real person that Eminem wrote this song about.
Even though Im sure he probably has had aome crazy fans over the years. But the truth is that Eminem wrote Stan with himself in mind. So in a way. Stan is actually Eminem. Eminem said that Stan reminded him of himself when he lets the demands of his career and distractions from fame get in the way of whats most important which was spending quality time with his daughters.
Some people think he only ahas one daughter named Haley because he mentions her in a song. But he actually has 3 daughters. And the reason he has not married again is because he says he has a hard time finding someone he feels he can fully trust.
Yes I think the full video really adds a lot to it. Like you know he's obsessed from the song but you don't know just how bad really till you see how crazy it is in the video. Em's reaction at the end when he realizes what happened to I really love.

Bruh, where did you got this video from? 😂 It sounds very awful from the original version. You should listen to the official music video and knowing how the story is about. For the lyric video makers out there, please don't ruin a good song even more just to avoid copyright strike. Don't make people confused with the original. Really shame and disrecpectful lol.
