Oddly one of my more favorite save themes in the Resi series. Definitely in the top 3. It gives off this incredibly ironic sense of safety in an immensely hostile environment that it's almost hypnotic.
When I 1st heard this song I loved it right from the start, I would stay in that train room forever and listen to it, the song was stuck in my head, I remember I was at my aunts church and kept thinking about the song, haha this song brings back so many memories.

Love this theme. All the main games up to this one had good save themes. And yeah this was the last TRUE RE game. RE4 the last great RE game, then after that, it turned into Call of Duty. :P
You shake off the hollow sense of horror as you close the train booth door behind you. The lock clicks, a safe calm rushes over you as you are shrouded in the dim glow of the dying candlelight. Your spirits have been lifted, the world outside the train window is rushing by as you can just barely make out a blanket of trees that are glowing in the forefront of a moonlit backdrop. Rain drops are flowing horizontally across glass like oils on a canvas painting distorting your view of the rushing landscape outside. Veins of water are illuminated by the flash of a violent lightning strike. Inside the booth you begin to feel warm and rested as the thunder follows the distant flash. There will be a time for you to go out and face the abominations that lurk outside the door, but it is not now, now you rest and prepare for the long, frightening night that lay ahead.
i just love this track. its my favorite music in re0 and i think out of all the save themes. it makes u feel peaceful and safe..but at the same time it made me feel a little sad, but it's just plain beautiful in my opinion.

Si, a huevo que hablo español, la verdad me parece que una gran cantidad de mexicanos y latinos somos veteranos de los juegos de genero survival horror de capcom, pero como de costumbre todo lo bueno tiene que acabar por morir y lo nuevo llega a remplazarlo, pero nunca vuelve a ser lo mismo para los que tuvimos el placer de crecer con lo mejor que ofrecio la saga...

these leechers scared the fuck outta me. i remember the first one that you encountered in the mansion after the train crash. in the toilet alleyway. recalling this i must say that i love the way they were randomly appearing with their "zomfg-not-that-thing"-music.
They had 3 games to bring RE back to its roots. I don't think its happening.... 4 was the last GREAT RE game and that was back in like 2004. With games nowadays, if the franchise is fucked, it's fucked for good. There is no turning back... R.I.P.

I miss the old style RE so bad...Hated how RE 4 got the accolades it did and then watched everything inevitably so badly downhill. RE 0 was the last great true RE.
Halo ODST main menu theme has a min part that sounds very similar to Save Heaven, one might say that Bungie ripped it off, and i dont blame them its a classic !!
I urge capcom to return to the original style of Resident Evil! Or at least remake all of the old ones in awesome graphics and let us relive the horror!!
@meg5493 I enjoyed not having item boxes...I didn't have to leave any room to find an item box just to drop something from my inventory to take the new item found in said room. I could make it happen right there,instantly...Drop the knife,take ammo,reload the weapon and there it is again,a free slot(cause you spent the ammo for reloading the weapon) to take the knife again. In other RE games,you would have to leave the room and search for a safe room and then come back to take the new item etc
Very nice yet sad theme, made you feel safe yet kinda contemplate on the horror that is only just beginning, people that are gonna die etc , thats what i got from this theme. shame you only hear it like 3 times the most in the game.

GLAD this game is finally coming to more platforms. Not many played it because of the release date, platform and poor advertising. This game truly deserved better. I LOVED REmake, but it felt like it was a "Modern" RE version of the original game. None of the PS2/gamecube era RE games had the same charm of the original trilogy and Code Veronica except for Zero.
+Cameron Rogers 4, although being a totally different game from the classic RE games, matched the charm and polish that made the series so popular imo. 4 is a near masterpiece imo, it has some issues but the game is so much fun, it revolutionized and popularized the 3rd person over the shoulder gameplay that Dead Space, The Last of Us and Gears of War used. Without RE4, those games would not exist. And RE4 is just so polished and well crafted, it's a unique experience and of course Mercenaries mode is addicting as all hell.
This game n re one are the only games i have ever played that have gotten me scared and afraid to play it but that was the whole point and i liked that. I have resident evil 6 and i dont have the same feeling as that... Its still badass tho
Enough hate on RE4, RE5, & RE Revelations. I agree though RE6 was very fun to play and great to see Ada, Sherry, Chris, and Leon again the story was weak and in away pointless (minus Carla trying to frame Ada which Capcom could've done more with.) Resident Evil 4 & 5 gave us something new and innovative. Besides RE5 pretty much connect all the games together. Why doesn't anyone see that?!

@KennethMoreland you my friend are one of the small percent that enjoyed 5, thats cool...but im sticking with the good portion of the series. however for people who dont know revalations is quite good.
4's atmosphere was killed by how sarcastic Leon was always acting, not to mention that they got rid of how the series played in favor of just blasting armies to hell.
Sinji Mikami is not working with capcom anymore. So yeah we will not see another Classic RE but still he work with platinium Games which made Vanquish,Shadow of the damned and lollipop Chainsaw. So it is still possible seeing him try on a new Survival Horror. I would like a Classic RE gameplay Set in Space, and i know Dead Space did it but the game use a Gameplay similar to new RE.
For me, the " save room theme " of the remake is better : it's mysterious, relaxing and a little dynamic. And because it's a little dynamic you don't want to stay in the room. You know that the way is still long so you don't want to have a long rest. The theme of RE 0 is too sad and hopeless. It makes you feeling less vivacious than the theme of the remake does.
You can only spit out the same old zombie infested city/mansion based horror game so many times before it gets old, there's more than 10 re games that follow this formula, just because a few of them change things up doesn't mean the whole worlds coming to an end.
This is the kind of theme you want to hear after a a long hard day

Resident Evil Zero not being everyone's cup of tea at first but being appreciated far more later is emblematic of the console it originated on.

Sinji Mikami is not working with capcom anymore. So yeah we will not see another Classic RE but still he work with platinium Games which made Vanquish,Shadow of the damned and lollipop Chainsaw. So it is still possible seeing him try on a new Survival Horror. I would like a Classic RE gameplay Set in Space, and i know Dead Space did it but the game use a Gameplay similar to new RE.
For me, the " save room theme " of the remake is better : it's mysterious, relaxing and a little dynamic. And because it's a little dynamic you don't want to stay in the room. You know that the way is still long so you don't want to have a long rest.
The theme of RE 0 is too sad and hopeless. It makes you feeling less vivacious than the theme of the remake does.
You can only spit out the same old zombie infested city/mansion based horror game so many times before it gets old, there's more than 10 re games that follow this formula, just because a few of them change things up doesn't mean the whole worlds coming to an end.
