FYI: My MOPAR body shop manager buddy who puts these on for customers at the dealership said... You should lower the hood before putting the tape on and then put a small piece of masking tape to the bottom of each side of the deflector to know where to start the tape. You cut the tape a little short on each side. The tape is designed to protect the smooth par of the grill from the deflector rubbing on it.
Is it necessary to trim of an 1 1/2 from each side of the rubber ? From the video it looks that will be fine with out cutting as the tree clips have their clip holes free and not been blocked by the deflector??? Is that a possibility? or who it will look/close the hood? Thanks
