Hull played in a completely different era...yes Patrick Kane is better than Hull and the best US born hockey player of all time. Auston Matthews might take that title though, kid is the real deal
Yet almost nobody in his "era" was able to score as much as he did. Gretzky, Lemieux, some others and thats about it. Even with era-adjusted scoring, Kane doesn't surpass Hull

He's lucky he found his way close to halfway through the season he was doing awful the first half. Now with panarin gone I wouldn't be surprised if he gets less than 30 goals without the help of panarin and less than 40 assist. Kane's time is done

Yet Kane has been a point per game player for 5 years straight and counting. This includes being a point per game for 3 seasons without Panarin.
Yet before him, all in the 60s and low 70 pts. Watch him fall down again.
Eureka Opium Yes, that is because of injuries and the lockout. If Kane had played a full season in those years, he would have been putting up at least 80+ points. Kane and Panarin do have incredible chemistry and feed off one another; however, Kane has proven that he can put up big numbers without him.
The injuries are not excuse, he's a #1 pick, he's a 160lbs it's his job to stay healthy, he hasn't improved that. I can name you players who played 55, 60 games and still managed to score 80 pts. Like I said, Kane has been a 60pt low 70pt player before Panarin. 2008-2009-2011-2012-2014-2015, all 60pt low 70 pt seasons. Now that Panarin is gone, you really expect Kane to smash 90-100 pts ? Of course not.
