    They should play this song every time Titan is showed
    Titan looked like he understood what the lady said when he put his head up a little bit
    (Only people who watch DUhorseman videos of Titan would understand.)

    I’m glad he still won after he came out of that roll back on the wrong lead

      In reining you can run down and come out of the rollback in any lead as long as you’re in the correct lead (inside lead) before rounding the corner for the next run down. The horse must always approach and round the far corners before the run downs in the inside lead, once you start the run down your horse can swap leads as much as they want before the stop. Hope this explains why he was not faulted but rewarded.

    Love the reining, but unfortunately every single time I watch these, I have to shut off the volume. Please folks is it that necessary to make such a racket?

    This was a win??? I’ve seen some excellent horses I guess this was far from impressive the sprints were not committed the transitions where just as sloppy the spin just stopped wherever like there was nothing about this run that was exceptional at all. Also they didn’t even bring a cow out to control.?? I prefer cutting myself over the showing disciplines I’ve only ever competed in strictly cutting events but I could run my horse through that stuff that sloppy

      Lol. Doubt it. Reining is showing that your horse is willfully guided. That’s why there is no cow. That what reined cowhorse is for. I think what you’re seeing is that he’s a very short backed squatty horse, so the style of this horse performing the maneuvers comes of choppy. There are definitely reining horses that perform much smoother and stylist than him. But you cannot judge style on a horse, only the maneuvers itself. This horse actually did everything very correct and willfully with no mistakes. Even the spins you speak of were excellent, what you see as sloppy is his backend continuing to move after the shut off. When judging the spin you have to judge the front feet. His front feet stop in the correct position each time, but his spins are so powerful that his hind end keeps moving to counter balance the hard shut off of the stop. If he didn’t do that he’d honestly probably fall down on his hocks. He hit all the markers correctly and his speed control was completely willful on a loose rein. You also have to understand this horse is deaf and a bit on the lazy side so trainers tend to amp them up a bit and get them really sensitive to cues before going in the show pen since you can’t rely on your voice. Reining is very voice cue heavy so when you have deaf horses you have to makeup for it in different ways.

    am I the only one that thinks that it wasn't a nice run? I see a heavy horse with no much control. But the color is amazing

    Titan is the Best in the world ! Clinton is the Best in the world. No one in the reining industry can compare. Watch the 2018 Cactus Derby Run. A video tells everything. Fantastic job to Clinton, Titan and Mr. Fappani. Your Biggest Fan, Romona DeBartolome ( of East Freedom, Pa.)

      Was Clinton Anderson the rider/trainer? Because if so I’m not sure if you know this but he has a long history with abusing horses/using abusive training methods. No hate to you though.

    Why is the horse head down something bot with that your head not be that down low

    • @lisafoster4468
      @lisafoster4468 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      That's just where he likes to keep it, and in western classes it's considered perfectly acceptable.

      The horse is trained to work using his whole topline. This way he is strong from poll to hocks and has the self carriage to perform this well. the horse must have the proper conformation to be able to work in this way as well. That is a more detailed topic.

    • @rezotydnic
      @rezotydnic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's not a natural head position. It's in the training.
