I feel like the sudden appearance of Cobalt Dragoon 2-60C has ignited my desire to get good with a String Launcher, due to that starter set including a String Launcher L over a Winder, my usual preference.

String team baby. When i use a winder I feel like the bey shoots off. Way more control with the string launcher. I also broke a couple but now know how to fix them back to better than new condition. So I’m not as scared to really rip the snot out of them. I think I broke my Battlepass because of how hard I was able to get them going this past weekend.
@@r10t49Pulling “harder” won’t change anything, except potentially making your arms sore, or worse over time. You can focus on pinching the handle lightly, keeping the launcher still, and pulling the string til it slips as fast as possible. Don’t start the motion winding up, or be scared to break the launcher. Almost as if your playing ninja…focus only on pulling the string as quickly as possible. You shouldn’t need too much shoulder strain, and if standing, squat a little, and explode out from your feet to focus everything on the string motion being as quick as possible
As I learned with my string launcher, it tends to have "snap whiplash" I like to call it. The small handle often hits my holding hand😅 I plan to get the grip accessory to remedy this, but until then... I'm wearing thick fingerless gloves!
I heard X was different this time and that winders were stronger than string. Not for me. It's at the very least super close and I feel when I get a really good whip, string is most powerful. And obviously the control is going to put string over the top. I am interested in the new sword launcher (or whatever they call it this time) tho and how much more powerful that will be. Maybe will swap to that for stamina launches at least.
Maybe people just pull harder than me but I pull the string super hard even to the end of the string like you’re not supposed to, I guess people REALLY pull too hard lol
It's why I prefer ripcord launchers. I don't have to worry about breaking any internals And it's what I've been comfortable with since I was a kid playing with metal fight beyblades.
I recently got a string launcher, and while I enjoy using it more than my traditional launcher, the string tip keeps hitting my fingers, so either I have to wear a motorcycle glove on my left hand or use the grip from the trad launcher.
The speed of pulling the string creates more spin rather than just power. Technique is definitely more tricky but I generate same spin with it vs ripcord
I actually hold onto the end piece the way you say you're not supposed to 😅 and I also pull upwards as hard as I can. I guess I wouldn't recommend doing it this way but I've been doing it long enough that muscle memory prevents me from completely tearing the end off...
i think the official beyblade channel did a video and mentioned how, with a string launcher, you're supposed to accelerate your pull. starting a little slow before pulling fast and i was curious if you had any experience with that?
I don’t let go of the thing when I launch, instead I grip it tightly and pull as fast as i can WITHOUT hitting the end, DONT HIT THE END THAT CAN BREAK IT, but I notice when I focus on the speed on which I pull the string I get more power
I’ve always just released on pull through so that’s how I generally advise other people to do it. For newer players if they continue to hold it they are more likely to break it until they get better at using them.
@@nizumablader yeah your right they should get comfortable and be cautious, X Lunchers are actually on the cheaper side but still that’s a cost you can totally avoid
Hi Nizuma, I just got the Noozle connector for two string launchers after watching your video. When you use the Noozle do you still let go of the string at the end? I notice that the big plastic handle of the Noozle is clunkier and gets tangled, but it doesn't feel right to launch without letting go of the handle. Thanks!
I just started using string launchers and I can definitely see the appeal and I am definitely on Team String now. However, I am noticing that it's harder to keep the bey on the launcher when setting up so that's something that I may have to work on. Got any tips?

I've had two coils snap on me while trying to use string launchers. Kinda wonder what I'm doing wrong, I've been using strings since MFB with no issues.
I prefer to not pull the string until it reaches the end. Puts a LOT of stress on the gears. Instead I pull fast (not hard) with a light grip on the string and pull most of the length in a whip-like motion without releasing the string. It'll naturally pull the rest of the string through inertia. The secret is speed, not strength!
I use sting luanchers that’s my type and I’m comfortable and stuff but the problem is it hurts my hand everytime I pull it and let it go how could I stop that from happening
You could try not pulling it all the way, the speed you use will pull more even without you pulling it all, that way you don't have to let go of it and can let it wind slower while getting nice power imo
I think it's time I made the video showing the benefits and uses of a winder. Ya'll just really hold the string in high regard simply because some tournemant winners used them, but that's because their opponents did as well. If more people used winders the string would be beat everytime. Grips are a thing, you do not lose control once you have practiced. What I got to from this is string is easy mode for beginners. If you want real power and precision you use a winder.
There's also the fact that TT prioritized String Launchers over winders in burst which became especially evident in DB/BU, and a lot of people are riding off of that logic
Plenty of people use winder launchers, I’d say it’s split about 50/50. Each have benefits, I prefer string for a variety of reasons but I’m not going to tell someone to use one over the other.
Idk if this was asked yet, but I've seen people use the string launcher but, instead of the standard launch where the launcher is near the stadium to launch the bey, I've seen people launch the bey with the launcher going towards the stadium rather than pulling the string. Is that legal?
@@nizumablader my bad 😅 what I was trying to say was instead of pulling the handle string part to launch the bey I've seen people pull the launcher towards the stadium to launch the bey while keeping the handle string part stationary towards the body.
