I will tell the real reason for ppl not coming to theatre and all team also will accept it.
1. Long delay in movie from years.
2. If decided to release in November u should have done bcz their was more space bcz no good movies came.
3. If February all youngsters have exams and after different actives, and currently COVID19.
4. Bcz all are free now bcz they have time and no school, colleges and work from home ppl they watch it in mobiles and laptop.
5. Atlast from movie point of view it's a beautiful scripted neat movie, simple nice acting, excellent direction and DOP good.
But in ending and climax even myself and few of friends, colleagues also said ending and climax should have been better.
They did not one word about Rakshit Shetty who promoted Dia like his own movie.. to some extent Rakshit Shetty brought audience to theatres after he promoted in Twitter . Movie is awesome but major drawback is it has no songs at all being a romantic movie.. Audience cannot connect to romantic movies without songs..
Songs are not needed , and this movie explains the very gist of it.
Poor Marketing is d problem
The mindset is that when new people enter into films, people judge, Weather it is worth seeing or not. But this movie is worth watching! It takes to you to another world where there is only values and lessons of love. These three have acted so real! It has a very good storyline and crafting. We don't feel that these are Freshers. It is an emotional film which has twists! This could have been a hit if more people watched it and had given good reviews. It drags your emotions..! Please do watch this film! It made me cry! This is one of my personally favourite film.!!
Unfortunately it's now a lockdown period .. I heard in some interviews that there could be a re-release of the movie, but still under discussion with the producer .. So hopefully I get a chance again to watch in theatres and feel it. Dia soup was awesome 🥰😍

#At the same time When you have done something good it is your duty to promote in a good level.
Watched DIA movie in prime, it really superb. This weekend I've planned to watch it again. Really liked PRITHVI acting.
Lets see what is the problem with KFI
1.As a Industry lets analyse
KFI does not work as an Industry as there are no professional Movie making Studios, Producers Companies , basically there are no Corporate companies started by even the big film stars (they only invest in their kids movies) , working timings are not there, salaries are a joke ( no salary or very less salary for Directors, Asistant directors, DOP etc ) or the typical dialogue ( we are giving you an opportunity be thankful for that)
Producers want to convert Black money to white or they want favours from Actresses
90% of the Kannada movies released every year are by New Producers , so what are the Big Names in our kannada Industry doing
2.As a Quality Enterprise/Industry
Movie industry is one Industry where Knowledge , Intelligence play a very big role , in KFI directors get opportunity because they are close to Big Heroes or Producers ( not because of their tallent) , it is the same for other department people too.
KFI as a whole works as one big fraud eco system , producers , directors, actors, Production manager, stunt director, music director - every body is trying to get money or commission from others
3.As a Infrastructure
Most of the people working in film industry have come to work in the industry because they have no education and here in this industry no body asks what is their qualification ( which is a bad habbit) , i have seen many kannada films where the big great heroes does not even know how to pronounce a proper english word in a dialogue , the director should be educated ( ie well read in Literature) so that he/she can write good dialogues , good story , screen play etc.
There are no proper learning schools for Directors, actors, DOPs , Editors, music Directors ( will yoyr parents let you pursue a career in Films - kannada parents only wnat their kids to do BE,MBA, etc)
Where are the Stories , there are no good novel writers , even if there are some, then the movie industry will not pay them well to acquire that novel to make movies.
The Short movie scene should improve a lot so that Quality Human resources will flow into the Industry
4 . Trust is lost with Kannada Audience
this is very crucial as from past 20 years KFI has not even given 20 Good quality movies ( i am not talking about Box office success) So audience will not believe Actors words or directors words when they say THIS MOVIE IS GOOD GO AND WATCH.
so what is the way out of this missery for KFI?
ANS- All the old working style and people have to leave and new educated , intelligent , knowledgable people should come into the industry , more short movies should be made, screened , watched , opportunities for people only with tallent should be given preference , movie funding / finance should be made easy , All other language film stars have their own production houses where they invest and give opportunity for new blood ( only Rakshit team nad PRK is doing this in KFI that too from past 2 years )
So you see the whole system has to be cleaned and new quality materials have to be used to bulid a new Industry then only will our glorious industry will survive
finally DIRECTORS are the ones who will make Good movies ( not your super star ) so Respect Director and pay that diretor more salary than the film Heros then you will improve the Industry.

Everyone is saying Releasing more Kannada films in one week is the problem.
But ever week more than that non-kannada movies release, no one asks about that.
I leave in JP Nagar and I found only one theatre with one show per day, that too at 1PM. If I want to watch it I have to travel. If I want to watch a Telugu or Tamil movie I can find 3-4 theatre having 4 shows a day in same area.
So releases are not the problem, it's Theatres.
