- Nigeria has been thrown into sudden mourning following news that one of the country’s most influential and richest pastors, Prophet TB Joshua, passed away on Saturday, June 5 of 2021. His shocking death is coming just two months after he came down with a stroke and was flown to Turkey in an air ambulance for treatment.
The late prophet is the founder and leader of one of Africa’s biggest churches in Africa, The Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), based in Lagos and known for running Emmanuel TV, one of the most-watched Christian channels worldwide. Confirming his untimely death in a Facebook post, the TB Joshua Ministries revealed that his death is of divine will. He left a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s kingdom that will continue to live on for generations.
While the cause of his death is still unknown, he was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital after he was found in an unusual position in his apartment. This was just a few hours after a brief preaching on Saturday. Sadly, he gave up the ghost around 3 am and his last words were, “watch and pray.”
TB Joshua is survived by a wife, Evelyn Joshua, with three grown-up children and grandchildren. Although a very controversial pastor, TB Joshua was one of the most loved pastors in the country due to his humanitarian works. For this reason, many have taken to mourning him on social media while recounting all the good that he did in his short lifetime. The cleric, who was only 57 years at the time of his passing, was due to celebrate his 58th birthday in a week.

I had the rare chance God gave me once for a pilot friend of mine to personally give Prophet Tb & Evelyn a small gift as he picked him up after the crusade in Dominican Republic. His wife Evelyn & Daughter Sarah was with him. ; my pilot friend said this about Prophet Tb. He was very humble & no staff on the jet to wait on them but The daughter Sarah brought coffee to my friend as he flew them back to Nigeria. My friend had no clue who's presence he was in. He brought me back books that Prophet Tb signed for me. I was very honored.. so many times wanted to go visit there,,, as Prophet Tb told my friend he would pay for my way to come give a testimony. Yes, other Pastors see him as fraudulent because they could not function in the same anointing God gave him; God does not use everyone in the same way, but these other Pastors refused to see this spiritual aspect of anointing. The rest of them are purely for money and nothing more.

receiving their miracles
9. Synagogue church is the only ministry that doesn't discriminate between christian, Muslims and
the rest but have equal love and care for them.
Take note : Stop judging and condemning people because he does not attend the same church you attend.
For God the qualification to heaven is not by the church you attend but by your deeds towards your
fellow human being(Matthew 25:45 ).The qualification to God is not the church you attend (Pentecost, Methodist, ICGC,Perez Chapel, Catholic or Mightychapel),but man shall accout for everything he/she did on earth( 2corinthians 5:10).

It is a religious tragedy that so many so called men of God across the world and sadly Nigerian pastors and bishops hated him so much even unto death but guess what I believe his ministry will grow even stronger without his physical presence . His life is not tragic. There's nothing about his life is tragic but he only did what God wanted him to do. He also said it in his last service, that once the service is over, people go home. Every word he speaks has meaning. After his last service, he went home with God in paradise.

I was confused as to why he was saying all of those words at the time, but I believe God told him the plan to bring him home. TB Joshua is one of the greatest general to ever live in our generation. It's inaccurate that people were told to stop their medication after being prayed for at the SCOAN. Actually, it's the other way round .We are encouraged to continue using our medications until our doctors told us to stop .Prophet T.B. Joshua believed that medicines and doctors work hand in hand with God .God heals and medicines cure .That's what he always say .We will dearly miss the man of God ,Prophet T.B.Joshua .
