Only the women in that room will remember what God did in this moment. It’s hard to forget.
Only I knew what God was doing in my heart at this very moment.
A year ago, that morning, I was lying flat on my back in the bathroom, writhing in severe pain. Worse than childbirth pain. I was fighting to stay conscious for my husband who was trying to help me and my daughter who was screaming at the top of her lungs. The image is etched in my mind forever.
Only God knew what was going on inside of my body. He knew before anyone, including me, that I was physically a ticking time bomb at that moment, and I wasn’t leaving the hospital alive without being operated on.
Only God knew that a year later, He’d still be using my story not only to remind ME that He’s always good but to remind others, too. I’d be 8 months pregnant on the first anniversary of us losing Journey.
Overcome by God’s goodness is how I’d describe this moment.
He stopped an entire event to make sure that ONE woman knew that she was seen by her Father. It was an honor to be a part of that.
He sees you. He knows you. He loves you. He’s for you.
For the women who were there, reminisce with me. For those who weren’t, here is a tiny peak into a powerful, God moment!
