Okay, can we just appreciate that the camera operator was keeping pace the whole duration of the video, though?
The Camera operator was a beast!

There were over 10 operators, not one.
@@peeterl.2016 For this video however, it was one camera man, was it not? There was no editing done and the operation was too smooth to have been 10 people unless they relayed it to one another. Plus some of the shadows that you can see appears to be the same man running alongside the lead packers.

Great video, Spartan! Great improvement from previous years. Dividing men/women elite video was great. Great obstacle coverage. Captured most all of the clutch moments and passes on monkey bars, rig, barbed wire and finish. 👍👍

I'd love to see a return to 2018's live broadcasts.
2017, 2018, and 2019 all had nice commentary on the videos... definitely helps people who aren't familiar with Spartan racing know what they're looking at and not just click to the next video after 10 seconds.
@@julieleonard2318 yes the commentary was great. 2019 started the live to tape though so we are getting low quality streaming footage and a 24 hour delay without the benefit of it being actually live.
24-hours would be too crazy of s turn around but I would love to see the high-quality footage from the camera's memory card instead of the blurry mess we get in low cell areas right now.
why was it better?
The Super on Saturday really turned the muddy areas to soup. Wish I could keep half the pace some of these guys do.

Solid race performed by all. The Rabbits though holy cheese whiz. way to keep the runners in the frame and not eat it while you were running the same pace.
You can see the difference in Veejay's training development. It shows on this course!!!

@@obstacleactivist9741 Yeah, I was more questioning the legality, but from the 2022 rules ..." Competitors must return to the ground in a safe and controlled manner with at least one hand touching the rope at all times"... so I guess that can be interpreted as that is ok.
@@TheMctat2 ah ok gotcha. yeah you can argue that any dismount is "safe and controlled" i feel. unless of course you fall into someone else or something
i love how in all competitive events they have a cam runner. although i think they should look into investing in pro drone flyers
Glad to see divide of mens and womens videos however without commentary it becomes very dull too watch, last years commentators were good.

Jonathan Rogers yeah that’s Steve Hammond! I’ve never seen that move make an edit. Wow- a bit jarring for the viewer but effective for the videographer!!
I miss the commentary from the last couple years, I don't know who's running where. Also why is the Men's video twice as long as the womens? we barely saw any of the women's race for this course
Is the wire crawl uphill really necessary? What if some one feel backwards? That wouldnt be pleasant at all
