@@Khankhan-fm3jh Ours was soft. There's a few reasons I can think of that may have caused the texture to be that way. Over-whipping the eggs, not whipping the eggs enough, or leaving the cake in the fridge for too long. It could also be caused by how much syrup was absorbed into the layers. I'm not a baking expert so I'm sorry if this didnt help... 😅 It's a very tedious and time consuming recipe, so there's a lot that can happen. Best of luck to you!

You just have to make enough batter to get enough cake layers and the right thickness of the layers. Baking time normally is until a toothpick comes out clean when sticking it into the cake
