hi geoff, i disagree in some points and would like to give some sugestions. first - old oil - dont let it cool down to much. best is direct after the machine was running, because still the segments are still floating in the old oil. second - clean the aerea where the screw is to let the old oil out. - third - open the oilfill cap when letting the old oil out. it really flushes the old oil. - fourth - didnt came out in the video. open the old oil filter,to see if any kind of debrie was in the sump.it might tells you a story, if so better check the oilpumpfilter. -sixth- filter the old oil, same as before. -7- carefully clean the oilfiltergage. -8- what about airfilter check, check oillevel in the gearbox, transmission etc. hope you dont mind
Hi Bend eikers. Not at all, that is the great thing about TH-cam, by leaving a comment you are sharing you experience and information with the world. Though I will never be changing oil on any machine when it is hot, only warm :) . As for the drive line we will cover this in another video in the future. Many thanks, kind regards Geoff
There is no better way to spend a Sunday morning!
Happy to hear Derek, cheers for the comment. Regards Geoff
Thank you for the video, it would have been nice to know what type of oil to use.

I find It’s not about strength but grip, I carry a textured rubber gardening glove and I can undo the toughest oil filters with ease👍🏻
Good stuff
Cheers John.
Hi Geoff, is it true with the high and low level mark on the dipstick being 1 litre - does this apply to series 2 and series 1? Cheers
Hi Mike. Yes, it does for the Series 2 and should do for the Series 1.From my experience.Cheers Geoff
