How do you get past retention issues when you scan with a retracted soft tissue? The denture will be short since the muscles are elevated which can result to shorter denture flange?
Thank you for your comment. Most of the edentulous case, digital scan is used to make custom tray and you can take functional traditional impression to get a wider border.

I have a question! I didnt quite get the scanning the denture parte, do you scan it when the patient is wearing it or just by itself ?
Thank you for your comment. In full mouth scanning, scan the denture itself outside the mouth. and scan the edentulous ridges.
