Rewatching this reaction, and thinking about how much I like Matt. He’s not Avi. And some people don’t like that. But he brings something so sweet and playful to the group. I’ve read on different Reddit threads that he has been called ‘drama-free Matt Salee’ because he is so easy to get along with and to work with. What an amazing find after an amazing bass like Avi chose to leave! And he’s 🔥 in this song.
If you don’t already, follow Scott and Kevin on Instagram and TikTok (all of them, but especially those two). Kevin posts a lot of beatboxing bits for people to duet with him. And Scott posts a lot of ‘sing with us’ breakdowns, then reacts to some that people do. Kevin is a genuine genius. Beatboxes, plays the cello and saxophone classically (performed at Carnegie hall), graduated pre med from Yale, speaks Mandarin and Spanish, and is a new daddy. Scott is a musical and business savant. He put PTX together and entered them in the Sing Off, arranges and writes a lot of music for the group, started an a cappella group to teach kids, does voice acting, has a pod cast with his friend Rozzi, etc.
They have never put out a bad or boring video. Pure perfection. Orchestral sound without the orchestra. I am convinced they are from another galaxy. They do what’s humanly impossible and make it seem effortless. They are superior beings that came from another place. Perhaps, actual angels.
They are ridiculous! Ridiculously good. Love how they used color for Dynamite and B/W for Butter. So clever. And that mashup at the end. Whaaaat? They make the difficult look so easy!!!

This would have *not* been one of my suggestions for you (I have trouble picturing you as a K-pop fanboy), but you obviously enjoyed this mashup of two BTS songs. I'm waiting for you to discover their extensive trove of Christmas music, which is loaded with holiday gems (and even unexpected surprises such as a Beach Boys song and a Kanye West reinterpretation of a Tears for Fears song).
Thinking of how many Christmas songs PTX do, I think you need to start reacting to them now to even stand a chance of doing them before New Year. Yes, there are that many - and a new album dropping soon full of them!
