Want to put some info out on timer balls as i see people get it wrong a lot of the time. The capture rate is now (1 + (turn count * 0.3) with a maximum value of 4. Turn count starts at 0. This gives the following catch rates: (ill reference to turn count 0 as turn 1 and so forth) Turn 1: 1x Turn 2: 1.3x Turn 3: 1.6x Turn 4: 1.9x Turn 5: 2.2x Turn 6: 2.5X Turn 7: 2.8x Turn 8: 3.1x Turn 9: 3.4x Turn 10: 3.7x Turn 11: 4.0x with a cost of $1200 I believe there is or was a mistake in the the tooltip which made people believe it to be 0.33 per turn. There was also a period where it started at a rate of 1.6x on turn 1 by mistake
The Nest Ball's catch rate works like this: For level 1-15 mons, is a 4x multiplier, then you reduce 0.1x catchrate per extra level, until level 30, which is 2.5x catchrate. Level 31 onwards, is the same as a Poké Ball (1x multiplier). Also, you forgot that they buffed Dive Balls to also work while fishing and surfing.
Also, didn't saw the full video before commenting, so I'll leave my insight on Timer Balls here: - The catch rate starts to increase by turn 2 at a pace of 0.33x increase (Turn 10 is 3.97x catchrate, Turn 11 reaches max 4x catchrate), but also TURNS ONLY COUNT IF YOU USE MOVES; switching out or using items won't count to advance the Timer Ball counter (most recent nerf of it alongside Turn 1 not counting). - What made them broken before was that they costed 800 PokéYen each AND they had all those features pre-nerf (Turn 1 being a 1.33x catchrate, switching out/using Balls to catch counting as actions)
I honesty thought Patrouski is gonna go to GTL to look for an Alpha Pokémon that's been Masterballed. Nothing triggers Pat more, than a Masterball caught Alpha Pokémon. Could have added that bit to the video, just for the memes.
i thought Repeat ball is used like when you catch a pokemon and the next catch is the sam epokemon u can get them. if ya catch diffrent pokemon used repeat ball it won't work.
This video is almost a year old and timer balls have been reworked since this alongside many other changes + the addition of johto balls. Take all information from this with a grain of salt!
Having a niche, really good use does not mean the pokeball is worth it. Specially when alternatives can save more inventory space, ergo saving more space at the moment of throwing and searching. Pokeballs and Greatballs are good for nearly guaranteed catches Dusk Ball is the best ball for regular catches in caves and at night, otherwose repeat ball is the best. Quick ball works best for low-level catches you need quick. Timer ball is for stronger mons that cannot be caught instantly or alphas. Masterballs. Everything else is inefficient unless you get them cheaper. And even then I would agree you are better off selling them on NPC or GTL if you do.
I rebreeded a 5x31 natured pokémon just because i forgot to put a ball that would match with, and like, 2 months later they added the option to switch the balls 🤡🤡🤡🤡
I just got super burnt out on it during event season, giga apologies for its absence. It WILL Return, the first mega episode bringing back the series was actually recorded yesterday... great time to ask about it!

@@HiImRainer This is actually incorrect, it rises 0.3 per turn not 0.33
@@xanarchynl DID THEY ALSO MICRO NERF THAT? BRUH
Its been REALLY hard to track all the timer ball changes LOL, much love to xanarchy for 100% Accurately laying it out in a comment.
@@HiImRainer 0.33 per turn was a tooltip error, it never was 0.33 in the code. Timer Ball ball used to be catch rates (1/1.66/2.33/3) for turns (

No as long as you've caught the species before it gets the boost.
Repeat balls only work if you target catch one species.

Pat, you should remake this video now johto is out

Thats quite a lot of balls to be good, one might even say (Almost) all of them.
@@patrouski lol yeah if you put it that way. We will see how things change after Johto comes with its new ball types

Can anyone explain how the dream ball works in Pokemmo?
I love dive balls coz i get them from payday, i never sell them
Bro may i ask? i seen someone using dream ball to catch ditto in pokemmo so where did i can bought it outside GTL?
Any suggestions for what pokeball to match serperior? I can’t decide
Dusk or friend ball
I think a nest ball would match nicely
Heal Ball is my favorite pokeball 😞
