Thanks for all the great content! My partner and I always enjoy watching your adventures and have travelled a bit in South East Asia for shorter holidays. We are planning on travelling full time next year. I'm a certified primary teacher - what platforms do you use to teach online while travelling? ❤
That's awesome, thanks!! I teach kids on a Chinese platform, but there's a few out there. We know some friends who teach on sites like Live XP, Native Camp and Preply and found private students this way too. Good luck on your travels!
I like this, i see that you also can check how much your daily budget is in the local currency, so 50 Euro is 2000 Thai Bath as an example, so total budget is 2000 THB then. In Vietnam it will be 1.3 million Dong, and in India it's 4500 Rupees. That will give you a better bearing than having to use your brains too much calculating the cost all the time in order to hit the budget. Try to beat that price that i show, because you need go go in surplus to save up to more expensive activeties, but in general terms thats the way i go. The other advice that is good for mer advanced travelers is using airline points, in am only flying Business og First Class and i pay as little as the cheapest ticket on the plane and even less on flying long distance and it's more comforteble as well, so sing up to an airline program and get a cobranded credit card, and use all the perks that the program has to offer. I would say that flying Lufhansa First class is much better then flying an cheap ailine like Schoot down to Asia for shure 😎
When we first traveled for 6 months we saved up around 8-10k for daily budget and buying flights, so around 5k per person. Depends where you plan to travel and cost of flights from where you are, this budget is suitable for asia
👋🏼 Small struggling Travel Channel here. I love your content, thanks for this great video! You inspire me to keep grinding my channel, maby one day I’ll grow as big as you 🥲
May i add to this, trust ypur gut instinc with other travellers, some are not honest, and maybe trying a con trick to rob you in some way.i always say im on my way home then find out where they are going bext and head opposite if it just doesnt right.
I teach English, but theres platforms out there for teaching any language or subject. For English most platforms that pay well require a degree (in anything) a tefl certificate which you can get online and being a native speaker, but not always.
Love your vids but I'm sure the advice is to use local rate not bank rate, and always choose not to convert as the atm conversion is sometimes way out. I may be wrong, I just did a quick check and I think you've been doing it right if you've used local rate without conversion?? Keep up the great work, last week we followed your route through Kalantan from Penang to perentian and it was truly stunning we even saw an elephant on the way and on the way back, right beside the road. Magical. Thank for your inspiring vid on perentian !! Love this couple !! Awesome!!
Sometimes it's confusing because some atms ask 'continue with conversion' but some say without, so you have to check before you choose. If you choose the atm conversion it's the local rate which added on an extra amount for us, but if we chose for it not to convert, our bank automatically does it which is a much better rate. I'm not sure if it depends on what bank you're actually with as to which is better but luckily we don't make this mistake anymore! Thanks and glad you like the videos 👍
Great and helpful information shut you just forgot about one thing investing and trading in stocks and cryptocurrencies.I know people tend to stay away from this because of the level of ridicule but let’s be honest here you can make an unlimited amount of money from off of the market.

how much in savings would you say you need??? lets say you want to travel for 6 months

Im curious .. how much are you two calculating you need to earn remotely each month to keep on going this lifestyle?
Depending on the country and cost of living there (and your lifestyle) In southeast asia $1000-1200 is enough for us and how we live (2 people).
