I too know English better than my native language because I challenge myself with new words or phrases that I simply can't with my native one .
I call YaoYao "the key," because when the wenut first appeared in the abyss, i needed a dendro unit as well as a healer. She filled the slot for both roles and she's the reason i managed to clear that abyss. Shes now one of my favourite characters and use her in every abyss run
it was the same with kuki for me when she came out! it was before dendro and i remember thinking that an electro healer is my only hope and when everyone hated her she saved my abyss runs lol
How do you beat the wenut? What's your team? I couldn't do it this time, at least yet. I don't remember the team I used last time, because I've been playing on my friend's account too, and his teams are totally different than mine 😂
@@Max15691 I use either an aggravate or hyperbloom team. So normally sucrose/kazuha, fishcl, xingqiu (or another electro/dendro unit if aggravate, like the traveler, kuki, etc.), then yaoyao.

Just to clarify something about Ayato's BiS artifact set: in a perfect world where you have 0 ping, Echoes of an Offering will be better but not by much. In reality it's just better to go with what you already have and what makes your build more balanced (Gladiator, Hearth of Depth, Nymph's Dream or even 2pc2pc). Unfortunetly your account is kinda new, so it's hard to have good Gladiator Pieces, so it's just better to strongbox one of his artifact sets and pray to roll on good stats. Also, if you pretend to build a character that uses Blizzard Strayer, you could farm Hearth of Depth for Ayato too!

as someone that reads more in English than in my native language I absolutely agree with your view on the topic. I started reading in eng years ago because I'm a fantasy reader and here in Italy it takes so long to translate and publish books so I decided to start reading in English. i began with a romance (which I 100% recommend as a genre) because differently from fantasy books I couldn't get confused with the world building and the neologisms that characterizes the genre, also I would suggest to use a kindle or your phone to read in English since you can easily translate the words that you don't understand. It took me some time but with the reading and the videos/anime/tv series I now consume more content in English than in Italian and I definitively improved my vocabulary 🩷
My native language is also not English and I relate so much with the problems you encountered 😭 Thanks for sharing that so people like me don’t feel like we deal with those by ourselves. Also your English is good though, I never figured out that you’re not a native speaker.

Also, for the English vocabulary thing, I feel you, I'm also not an English speaker (from the cradle). The thing that helped me expand my lexicon was videogames (when I was just learning), youtubers (when I was a little bit more advanced), and last fanfiction, some of them had advanced words and I had to had another window open with Google translate XD. My favourite word that I learn from there is "fondly", sounds so sweet xd
i really enjoyed hearing your perspective on being a content creator and the effort you put into it. i think that was probably my favorite talking point i've heard on a video recently.
as someone who speaks three languages (due to growing up in a trilingual house hold), the best way i can suggest to lewrn lajguages is to watch shows from your native language in english with subtitles of the language you speak. it helped me s lot with english

I stumbled on your channel back in December I believe, and I struggled getting my characters up, building them, and having a high enough AR level (which I still do). Your videos inspired me to actually try to build my characters and play more often :). I even started pronouncing Tighnari like you do! Coming from a Native English speaker, I think you have a very good vocabulary! Trust me, not even native English speakers understand stuff in books. I love watching your videos and I’ve rewatched a lot of them :).

English is my first language but in learning French this school year. One homework I had to do was write a seven sentence paragraph about someone or a character. I love the sentence i had to look up words for: Il est un petit mac bête(bête was the less mean word to call someone silly/stupid)
My English is not my first language either. I started reading because I wanted to read books in English too but I didn't understand so I started reading little children's books and raised the level little by little. Now I can read the books I wanted with no problem!
i'm a native english speaker and honestly the book thing is real and smart. when i was younger and still learning words, whenever i would read there were words i didn't know and in class we were taught to learn the definition by using context of the sentence and words around it, so your doing great and your english will definitely improve that way.
I love yaoyao and she is HP scaling. Even if she's targeting your character to heal, it still has aoe dendro application to the enemies and vice versa, so damage to the enemeies will heal you if youre standing close enough. I do also love Baizhu but he needs more on field time for good dendro application
there isnt any problem with your vocabulary , honestly, as a non native english speaker too (im still learning) listening the words that you usually use is so good to understand , im loving the style of your videos

This series gave me more motivation to be online more and build my characters properly, my depression always stopped me from coming online since I dont have motivation and energy to come online everyday and that affected my account alot, my characters weren't build properly and I didn't even unlocked the sumeru and Fontaine nation on my map.I had alot of quests to do and I was so tired of it but thanks to u I had the motivation again to come online as much as I can and build my characters properly and to unlock more of the map, im so thankful! :D.

When it comes down to fungi drops and handguards, I wait for the star glitter shop to refresh. That way, no farming needed 👍
Concerning you perfecting your english through books, I would give the advice of starting with picture books (mangas, comics) to help your understanding of what's written with the pictures. Then, yound adult/pre-teen books. In general, those have a simpler vocabulary, and shorter sentences, so you can just do the understanding in small parts.
And the thing that help me best : never give up, take a damn dictionnary next to you and refer to it every time you need. It'll be very long and feel frustrating, but you'll get there!
(I allow myself to give such advices because I read a fantasy books about priests and destiny in spanish. I knew very little spanish at the time)

I love yaoyao!!!!! im not the best with building so I don't really remember what artifacts I have her on. but she's been my main dendro unit since I got her. basically what I do with her radish targeting (especially in overworld farming) is toss yuegui away from me using the range attack into the enemy camp so that the radishes HAVE to target them and not me. so that applies all the dendro to them. then I come in with yelan's E, and then either burgeon the blooms or do hyperbloom. her burst is one of my fave heals in the game too she's so fun :))))

Personally, whilst Yao Yao is a BRILLIANT Dendro support character, I think she isn’t necessarily the best character for a Tighnari team, because her main bit is on field Dendro application with her burst, but Tighnari is also strictly on field. She could work definitely and is definitely a good option, but imo I think Baizhu would be a better option + he’s a catalyst user as well so he has access to catalysts (obviously) and can apply Dendro with NAs during a rotation.
Depends on if you end up liking Yao Yao’s play style :)) I’ve always liked her in a Nilou bloom comp tho!

I almost always click out of people's videos when they are just talking about how they do stuff or if it's mostly just them talking about things that don't have much to do with the actual game. But when I watch your videos, I just like watching, and I love hearing your voice . For some unknown reason, I can watch your videos even when they are long
A little tip on how to use Yaoyao: if you have her as a second dendro character on the team she is perfectly fine with her application. She is also really good to build up fanfare for Furinas burst. Just use her burst after Furinas to build up fanfare and as a great sideeffect, fully heal your party. But you need to stay on the field for a little bit because her burst is only active while she is on field.
Your doing really well with your content, and whenever i see one of your videos come out I immediately watch it. Btw the thing with the ayato artifact set, the reason why ping affects it is because the cooldown for the boost happens very quickly so if your lagging it could hinder it. But overall it increases his damage by quite a bit

for kuki in "hyperbloom" specifically, you dont need to refine iron sting. Refining it will increase the electro based damage that her ring inadvertly deals, but i dont thik it would be a worth while investment, considering that there are better swords thtat you can use billet on(like Sapwood blade or even amenoma or the latest fontaine craftable sword)

havent finished the vid and not sure if anyone else has said this already but, definitely do not refine that em sword for shinobu and save the billets because that dmg increase you get is just wasted on both her and kazuha. always fun to watch another pulls only! I found that HP/HP/Healing Bonus works the best for Yaoyao for a dedicated healer build if she is the solo healer. Since you have Kuki to constantly heal Tighnari, then probably stacking her with ER and HP will be the best since with just a leveled up burst, Yaoyao will likely be able to bring Kuki up to max health quickly. [Edit because I forgot] Yuegui will on only target you if you are too close and with low health, otherwise it will target enemies. If neither are close, then Yuegui will throw radishes everywhere.

You are so right about practice in English. This language also is not my first language and some weeks ago i decided to begin my own Genshin challenge (i called it CitrusRoll, if you are interested), and i decided, that i will speak English in my videos! It is really difficult for me, but i noticed, that i began to speak better and more confident! Still i am doing many mistakes, but I am trying my best!

Can you even use yaoyao since you didn't pull her? If you decide to use her she has quite high burst cost (80) so i would put a ER sands on her. Also the new fontaine craftable spear is really good for her!!

Flowers of paradise lost is only about a 5% increase in hyperbloom damage over gilded so it is pointless to farm. Well unless you are also farming a set for Wanderer at the same time. It'll be nice when the set gets added to the strongbox.
Same girl samee... I can't speak English fluently, but literally. My talk style be like: just know few words and keep spamming them contionusly. And also I constantly have to pause and find "that" word to continue speaking. An exact situation happenned just a min ago. My vocabulary is so limited that I even realized much later that the meaning of the word fantabulous is "fantastic"... I mean ughh... And problem is not just finishing there. When my attempts to try learning english, I lost vocabulary on my native language too... So I think now I'm a 🌟N O L I N G U A L🌟

A bit of a TMI or funfact I guess: sometimes I have a hard time keeping a straight face when talking or listening to english speaking people call her just Kuki, beacuse "kuki" means wiener in hungarian (my native language) and it's just so strange to hear it in such different context lmao
I totally get you on the language issue. I'm not native English speaker too and I try hard to use to different phases for the things I want to express so I wouldn't repeat the same thing all the time (but sometimes I fail lol). Also another thing is that when I'm a bit embarrassed when I speak because of my accent. Not saying that accents are bad ofc, it's just the fear that I might be not understood what I'm saying (i mean with the pronouncing some words, ehe).😅
Btw a really bad "joke": if the languages are life then the accents are the spice. 🦝
English is also not my native language and I used to have the same problems with reading until I discovered fanfiction. Stories usually keep me engaged enough to continue reading even if they are difficult to understand. Now I can read 800k+ words work in a week...

Yaoyao may no be the best dendro applicator but she can do the job and for the healing part just give her enough energy recharge so you can user her burst more oven the burst heals all party members
So if you want to heal use her burst it's better than using skill
I prefer using Yao Yao in bloom teams or Dendro teams with no healer (for example teams without a Kuki) and use Yao Yao as a solo healer!

Hey kat, I'm not sure if this was cleared last video, but didn't you say at the start of the series you can only use characters you've pulled for?
