Great vidio very helpful do you have to use white gas or just dawn and borex

White gas is only used as water displacement . I would not use it

I tend to make my standing ducks a little Leggy. Should I make the bone shorter. Or insert the leg wire higher up on the body?

Depends on the form you are using. If you are using the form shown in the video, then you will want to cut the leg bone.
