Preparing the land for the 2018 wheat crop

There's a little bit of an update on what we're up to here on the farm and what are plans are for the rest of the week. We're getting ready to harvest and plant all in the same week.

You have a good minimum till system there. Main reason I no-till (not corn) is we only have a shallow layer of top soil and lots of Chicken Mc Nuggets to pick. Lol Nice looking farm there.

hydraulic hoses do break and blow apart. Not a wise idea on your behalf ridding in bucket of tractor.

If you are no'tilling and don't get the seed in the ground, you either don't have the drill set right or need a different drill. i'd like to take my notill JD drill across that soil and show you how good of a stand you can get. What you are doing is a waste of fuel, time and soil moisture

Now that's a bit sketchy riding in the bucket and filming especially high up in the air although I note your driving much slower forward speed so as to hopefully not throw the farmer out the bucket! However it does make for some interesting shots. Nice soil as well.

I am not a big fan of no till . In my opinion the money that you save on fuel tilling is spent on chemicals to suppress the weed crop.
