The fact that Tarantino knows exactly how to ALMOST strangle someone makes him even more of a creeper, if that’s actually possible. The Three Stooges were injured on the set more-than-once but their performances were never edited out: Moe Howard in "Pardon My Scotch" (1935), Larry Fine in "Heavenly Daze" (1948), Curly Howard in "Three Dumb Clucks" (1937), Shemp Howard in "Fright Night" (1947) and "Curly Joe" DeRita in "Three Stooges Meet Hercules" (1962). How about: *Brendan Fraser gets hanged: **_The Mummy._* Similarly to the Michael J. Fox incident in BTTF3, when Brendan Fraser's Rick O'Connell was being hanged early in _The Mummy,_ there was a problem with the noose, and the star became unable to breathe or indicate that he needed help, as his hands were bound. It was only after he had completely lost consciousness that anyone on set realized that there was anything wrong, even though they were shooting close-ups. When you see Fraser's eyes roll back, that's not acting; he's really passing out from asphyxiation. He had to be resuscitated on the set. *Kurt Russell breaks his ankle: **_Soldier._* Early in the production, while filming a scene in which Kurt Russell's enhanced super-soldier Sgt. Todd runs across some haphazardly-lain metal plating, the metal shifts, and a plate catches the actor in the side of the ankle, knocking it sideways and injuring him. Fortunately for the production, several scenes featured Todd bedridden and convalescing, allowing the actor's leg to heal somewhat. The leg had not healed completely when they filmed the marathon scene - which was done last - but Russell ground through it anyway. The scene with the metal shifting was left in the film, and the foot can clearly be seen getting knocked sideways. Honorable mention from TV: *Jerry Doyle's broken arm: **_Babylon 5: "Severed Dreams"_* Technically speaking, we don't see the actual injury take place in this episode, but we absolutely see the injury itself. During a battle scene, Jerry Doyle, as Security Chief Michael Garibaldi, suffered a bad break to his arm. In one shot ostensibly depicting news footage of the aftermath of the battle, actor Jeff Conaway, who portrayed Zack Allan, can be seen helping the injured Doyle into a seat while the latter holds a helmet. As he sits down, his arm flops over and bends in the wrong direction - at a point where there is no joint. Series creator J. Michael Straczynski has said that looking at that shot makes him feel nauseous. The end of the episode, in which Garibaldi was shown to have injured his leg, had already been filmed, but in subsequent episodes, the character was shown to have his arm in a cast.

Jacky Chan is famous for doing his own stunts and I had already hear of a couple of them before the injuries mentioned in this video, that man really had an endurance for pain.
@Alex Kanyima but i mean Jackie Chan did have a lot more serious injuries but i do say that both are really great actors

This actually surprised me. Like imagine acting while you're hurt from a serious injury? It's actually insane how actors do it
And they should be the standard and example to the prima dona actors that bitch and whine about the most trivial things and hold up shooting.
yes. they should get paid more
Patrick Ekeu I build cars for a living (jeeps) for 25 years at age 60...I work injured everyday and I don’t make millions!

I will blow out both ankles and run not hobble run a mile 🤑
The fact that Caviezel was struck with so many unfortunate injuries/illnesses while filming Passion of The Christ seems a bit biblical in itself 😂

Luckily his eyes going a little wide still fit the context of that scene

Best Watch Mojo video to watch when you have a fracture 😖. I applaud them. That takes dedication. But I know some doctors will disapprove…
Totally going to age myself here but I still remember the behind the scenes footage at the end of the Shanghai Noon VHS tape where it's basically just a compilation of Jackie Chan hurting himself
Faith I think Chan would do that for every movie. During the end credits, it would show all the accidents.
Those were the days. I miss that.
Standard practice for Jackie Chan to include a blooper reel at the end of every movie.
yes, me too, he used to end all his movies with bloopers that really were just him injuring himself like breaking his foot with the hovercraft
"Break a leg, Tom"
"I can offer you a foot?"

The fact Stallone is getting no credit for receiving full force punches from Dolph Lundgren and doing that INSANE First Blood stunt hurts me.
Steve Carrell - How could you leave out that the lady doing the waxing had NO IDEA what she was doing? He got blood spots because she failed to apply the wax properly.

I heard somewhere that there’s this unspoken rule that if the actor / actress gets injured getting the shot (and manage to finish it) they have to use it in the final cut 👌🏻
Maybe I don’t know
I believe that happened in the movie named The Crow, they didn’t know they had a real gun and shot him. The actor was Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee’s son. Like how did they even get to use a real weapon on set.. didn’t they know how dangerous that was.. stupid idea whoever thought of it..
The scene where Vic Morrow and two children were killed in the Twilight Zone movie was not shown.

And these were NOT the only examples!
Fans thought the stunts were real and Curly suffered the worse. It’s amazing how some people act without thinking. Two young women went up to him slapping, punching and twisting his ears.

They mentioned Ellen Berkin in The Exorcists but they left out Linda Blair. She suffered fractured her spine and later developed scolosis. They did one take of her being flipped up and back onto the bed because her screams of "it hurts, mother make it stop" were very real. I saw her at a Q&A before an outdoor screening of The Exorcist. She talked about that injury.

I loved leo's Improv when he cut his hand on the glass, then to rub it all over the actors face 😂👏 wasnt scripted but it really made the scene ngl. Really showed his characters absolutely disrespect against his slaves.
I just looked this up because I thought the actress deserved a shout for enduring this and also staying in character. However, apparently Leo was already patched up and they used fake blood for the face smear. Honestly, it would have been pretty f'd up if he actually improved that, with real blood, without the actresses consent.
Or perhaps Leo's he's such an evil person

This is one of the first WatchMojo videos I've had a slight interest in watching all year. Them and BuzzFeed seem to be so strapped for content. I'm proud y'all actually found something half decent to make a video on. I enjoyed it 😊
That being said the desperate oversaturation of video output per day with pandering titles and clickbait is really telling of how bad things are for the channel these days.
I was just about to type in the comments that you left out Viggo Mortensen getting injured when he kicked the helmet and then they started showing that it was the number one injury. Glad it wasn't forgotten. I remember watching it in the special features of the DVD.
I was ready to get after them if they left that out also. I remember seeing it in the commentaries of the special editions when they came out.
That scene in 40 year old virgin was hilarious
Don't forget that Viggo Mortensen also nearly drowned doing his own "floating down the river scene" in the same movie.
Didn't he also fall off the cliff too?

*Brendan Fraser gets hanged: **_The Mummy._* Similarly to the Michael J.
Honorable mention from TV:
*Jerry Doyle's broken arm: **_Babylon 5: "Severed Dreams"_* Technically speaking, we don't see the actual injury take place in this episode, but we absolutely see the injury itself.
