Hello. I have been hospitalized for three months with Covid 19. Missed a lot of you videos. I’m on the bandwagon again! A great video as always.See you on the next. Cheers Marie!
Loved the Old Copper Nose story and the teapot finials I collect are The Widows of Zarephath ; I think everyone of the little widow characters is different and were dependent on the potters personality . The tin glazed picitorial is a beauty. Thanks again.
Hello Marie! Congratulations on the groat! It cleaned up better than I thought it would. Great find. For preserving wood i use polyethylene glycol. It is sold online over here for woodworkers to prevent green woods from splitting while drying. Some woods are easier to work or turn while green. It will also preserve waterlogged wood, but the items must be put in the solution while still wet. The wax molecules replace the water in the item and prevent it from shrinking and splitting. Polyethylene glycol is also known as carbo wax or PEG. It is not hazardous.
Hey Karen! Thanks for the tips, they are greatly received. I can't believe how well the groat cleaned up, too! Really pleased with it. I was a bit heavy handed with it, but don't think I lost anything of the silver. 🌊⚓
Hello Marie, I missed the live. Just came home from a antique market where I saw beautiful Westerwald items. Congratulations on finding that copper nose coin! Love your research on the finds. Have a good week to come!
Love the coin, so delicate and the dog bone which i never seen before, always seems to be pullies. It is nice how you find a shard of something and then work out what it came from good video, look forward to the next onet
Wow Henry V111, gorgeous. Thank you for another amazing video.

I love the Zarephath widows! They are so hauntingly pretty.
Mind blowing Henry coin! Most people would have just thrown it down as irretrievable. Well done!

Original Westerwald? I have a replica, as I think you saw? Gifted to me by Florrie, another mudlark that you probably know. 🌊⚓
Very cool coin. Loved the background information on Henry's nose. Thanks great video.
