This was a good change from the usual park / food vlog. Of course I know Greenville. Back in the 80's I was with a theater company based in Charleston and we did a tour one year in conjunction with the state summer reading program and performed in the downtown Greenville library doing Mr. Toad. Stay safe.

What is this Harvest Festival!!!!! Aaaaahhhhh!! Salt & Straw was already high on my priority list but this sounds completely insane!!! Thank you! ☺️ I have to buy some truffle oil, we haven't had it in ages but you're right, everything is better truffled haha! You would love B&BW candles. The pumpkin clove is my favorite this year. It's not too sweet with just enough spice with the cinnamon and clove. 😍 Queen of Hearts is a good guess, I should have thought of that! I preordered illustrated Phoenix which is why I'm rereading them now. Can't wait for it to arrive in Oct.!
Ahh just was in riverside! Love that resort . It was only for two days but still was very nice. Stay safe it looks like the storm will make its way to Charleston afterwards. I also enjoy the health aid kombucha! I get the pink lady apple. What a fun way to wait out the storm. I put reishi in my coffee pretty much all the time. Reishi has kept me from getting sick for sure! Its amazing.
Hope you stay safe in Charleston! We were just talking to Matt's parents about that because they are in Charleston, too. Hope it isn't too bad there, I know flooding can be a huge problem. I'm glad to know reishi works for you! This is our first time trying this coffee blend but we really like it so far!

Maybe not in regards to this video but others, Shannon how do you always look so fresh without a hair out of place and not a sweaty frizz head mess while out in the parks under the hot Florida sun and humidity???
thank you, so nice of you to say because I always feel frizzy and oily from the humidity. I guess we typically don't do full park days, we're there for a few hours as opposed to all day like we'd do before we moved here. So I probably would look muchhh different if I were to vlog a full theme park day haha. But thank you. I appreciate you saying that bc I never feel great in this FL humidity 🤗

Same thing happened to us with hurricane water! We kept it on the top shelf in our pantry and it slowly leaked ruining a couple shelves oops. I guess now we know to drink it right after hurricane season. Glad you guys stayed safe at the resort!

We live in the Tampa/St. Pete area near the coast and had the same thing happen to our hurricane water a couple of years ago. 🤨After that we bought those large water cooler type jugs of water from Home Depot for our hurricane stash. We were so scared Monday night when they thought Tampa was going to take a direct hit. We booked a hotel room in Orlando last week just in case we needed it. We loaded up our car late Monday night and left for Orlando. I told my husband we looked like the Beverly Hillbillies! We really thought we might never see our home again. Wednesday morning we woke up in the hotel and found out Ian was going to come in well south of our hometown and Orlando would likely get weather as bad or worse than we would in the Tampa/St. Pete area ... so we drove as quickly and safely as we could back to our hometown Wednesday morning before conditions could deteriorate and they could shut the bridge we needed to cross Tampa Bay and get to our home. We are so relieved our area was spared, but feel so terribly bad for the people just south of us. 💔
so weird the same happened with your water! We should look into getting a cooler bottles from Home Depot too, great idea. SO relieved that you didn't have much damage in your area and that you guys were able to get home safely (and it was still there!). Seeing pictures of the coast and all of the destruction has been heartbreaking. Matt and I knew Orlando would get hit with floods. We've had so much rain here we had a very bad feeling with this storm.
I know this is months late, but I live beachside and I always think the "buying water" thing is nuts. There is nothing wrong with the water before the storm, we fill up our pitchers and water bottles.
Haha true. But the water here tastes so bad 😳 and we didn’t want to bring our filter pitcher with us to the hotel, but I guess we could’ve

Hope you guys are doing well so far. Happy to see a new video though, given the circumstances. In South Alabama, we are under a Tropical Weather Statement due to the wind so this has widespread effects.
