Great effort. I've flown rc planes for over 30 years and rarely see such enthusiasm and dedication. Keep up the great work. We all crash sometimes but with each crash we learn. That's all that matters.
Here's a simple static test you can do to make sure the wing is strong enough: after assembly, load up the model to full weight (batteries etc), lift the model by one wingtip, while resting the other wingtip on the ground. Then wiggle the model lightly by that wingtip. There should be no excessive , visible wrinkling of the covering material near the wing roots during the test. If you do see wrinkling, the wing needs strengthening. You're on the right path, keep making those awesome models. Above all, keep having fun. That's what this hobby is all about.
Wonderful build so sorry for the crash. You have great building skills 😊 please keep up your talented work and hopefully you will share with your BEAUTIFUL FAMILY and young people near you. The Aviation Modelers of this world need you and can't wait to see you fly again, as I am sure the Ghanan Navy feels also. I subbed and can't wait to see more from you and yours. Good Luck on the rebuild and Thank You!
Awesome job with the modifications. Great creativity and ingenuity!! We had a styrofoam plane that we crashed about 50 times and we just kept gluing and taping it back together. By the time we retired her she was about 5 lbs heavier with glue and tape!!!! Love your "can do" attitude!! We will rebuild her and she will fly again!! Can't wait to see that my. We are cheering for you my friend.
Wow, Fantastic project and great flight until this unlucky moment! The takeoff was spectacular after such a short distance on the runway. You built a power monster. Your video shows that with determination, creativity and a strong will everythinng is possible! I wish you good luck with the rebuild and that nesxt time all goes well! Best greetings fom a RC helicopter Freak from Poland!

Great job, great job. I did not believe it was going to fly but you prove me wrong. Just keep going and improve it every time you fail until you achieve success.
The pilots. from these far away countries, both Model, and full scale, have boundless enthusiasm towards success. They desperately need a source of advice from experienced and knowledgeable build pilots... to achieve their dreams. Kudos to them all.
Absolutely superb! Be very proud of yourself, wonderful work - you can do it again. Thank you for sharing. I'm subscribed to you now, good luck and best wishes.
the instant change in glide slope and the pressure difference from the tank is to blame. Also, try using stronger wings-fuselage joints. The wingspan is no problem since they gave enough lift from the ground
Well done, it flew well, looked good, and did the job of dropping the parachutes perfectly, shame about the crash, but we all have them at some time 👍👍👍 Hope you can repair it.
Never give up, the plane was flown very good. 🙂👍It was a Pilots error if I'd seen right. Nevertheless good job and thank you for showing. I have learned from every of my crashes. Regards from baltic shore.
I build and fly model airplanes. At times I crash the planes (planes are not strong enough or pilot errors). I learn from the mistakes. Lot of fun of flying inexpensive or expensive planes.
Good job on the build. Looks like it flew well. Don't give up. Now from what I see and it's only my opinion. If it was a wing spar failure how come your wings look to be in tact? I think it might have been pilot error which we all have done but I think you might have miss judged to tower height and smashed into it. That's where the video cuts when you are flying right towards the tower. Never even seen it crash which I'm sure got edited out. I've ran into stuff flying as well but the important thing here is admitting to one's own mistakes. But I would bet it was flown into the tower. We learn from our mistakes. We can't make excuses from our own mistakes. On a good note, never give up. Build back and fly again my friend.
@@daronfleshman5991 Thanks for the review. It's unfortunate my phone couldn't zoom in to the crash. The plane fell far in front of the tower. The tower is behind the building, on approach to the runway. I rolled sharply to avoid flying in the line of sight of the tower, and the wooden spar couldn't handle the bending stress. Please watch the second video on the rebuild. Thanks for the encouragement.
Well done, let the web know where we can send you a package, a lot of western modellers would be happy to send you their old stuff, I know I have heaps!

Hey man that plane looks really good. I used to build RC planes with Petrol engines, with servos, electronics and the lot. Im young, under 20, and wnat to be a pilot. It was unfortunate that taht happened :/ The wings are too short and not wide enough. The wing spars are thick enough but need to be longer in order to extend the camber line. It looks like the plane did not have enough lift, and so stalled on final approach. I get an Airspeed Indicatpr is expensive especially on RC, but i think if you spend id say a month or two building a new one, with the same fuselage design, but bigger wings (length and width) your plane would be on point. You've reached success already, its just that things like these happen.
Are we watching the same video? this piece of junk is so cobbled together with tape and such it's actually dangerous to fly this if it's even airworthy it's a accident waiting to happen.
That runway was bonus! I would call that mission success. And such a kind & sympathetic recovery team!
