Definition: A sub-limit is a cap set by the insurer on the amount payable for specific expenses or treatments under a policy. For maternity insurance, sub-limits often apply to: Normal Delivery: Fixed coverage limit (e.g., ₹25,000-₹50,000 depending on the policy). C-Section Delivery: A slightly higher cap compared to normal delivery. Newborn Cover: Limited coverage for newborn care expenses, often included under maternity benefits. And yes cashless and reimbursement available.

If someone having hdfc health insurance policy for more than 3 years but didn't disclose the PED Like hypertension or thyroid,in this case the company will approve the cashless claim or denied it ?
They are likely to reject the claim and policy will be cancelled and all premiums you have paid will be forfeited under the non disclosure clause..I faced this issue with TATA AIG
If someone with an HDFC health insurance policy didn’t disclose a pre-existing disease (like hypertension or thyroid), the claim might be denied, especially if the condition is linked to the claim. While the policyholder may be eligible for coverage after the waiting period (usually 2-4 years), non-disclosure can lead to claim denial or even policy cancellation if discovered. It's important to disclose any PED now to avoid issues with future claims.
Yes, the Star Health Super Star plan covers prescribed medications. It also covers other expenses associated with inpatient hospitalization, such as: Room charges, Nursing care, Consultations with doctors, and ICU fees.
