Thanks Shaun, good timing. I live in the EU, and the other day I pulled out some pocket change, laid it on the table, grabbed my magnifying glass and began searching. Looking for a rotated die coin the first coin I picked up was a winner! Unbelievable! In sixty years of collecting I've never found a rotated die. And just a few days ago, on my first try, I had success. It was a Belgian one euro coin, with a 90° rotation, and what really got me excited is it was from 1999. This coin was in circulation over twenty years and no one noticed it!
So, for all you collectors out there, remember it can happen to you!

Now when you say 99% of coins don't need to go thru the grading step, is it still possible to sell those ungraded coins on a place like heritage auctions or does that limit it to selling on eBay? And what's the best way to get a round about value of like an error coin? And when it comes to coins that generally need to have a specific grade to get the top value like pennies that are in awesome shape from the 60s 70s, is grading the only way to get the high value price?

I hate to be a pain with the questions man I really do and they may seem like silly to you but here it goes. I've been putting aside all pennies that I find to be in surprisingly good shape no matter the year ya know. I know you say that it's a tough game to play hoping you get a high grade and it can be a waste of money and im sure your right, whats my best route to get a decent amount of money for a pristine looking penny next to grading and auction?

Shit I've got like a dozen questions I'd love to get you opinion on because they have me at like a stand still not knowing what hell to do with a bunch of coins, not just pennies. I've got a couple handfuls of some that I'm not sure what to do with or how to get the best money for them. It's getting to the point where I'm stashing them and I will have to go thru a bunch 9f containers and other things I've been stashing coins 8n because I don't have the room or the right space to properly organize my things . It's really irritating not being able to set up an organizational system whatsoever.

Hey Shaun, did you notice the 1919 with a lamination error, look at the letter "R" in liberty, doesn't it look like it's struck backwards? Probably PMD but quite the illusion.
Anyone else notice that quarter roll (with crossing the Delaware ender) looked tampered with?
I'm willing to bet the seller took their time opening a machine wrapped roll, being careful not to tear the paper, searched the coins (pocketed any more crown die chip errors), filled the roll back with non error quarters except the end, then carefully rolled the paper back up as perfectly as they could.
The rolled up end portion didnt look tight enough & was bent up really bad. I realize coin rolls can get dented on the ends, but that particular roll was just screaming "scam artist"!
