Oil down is my favorite but I prefer the layers & only breadfruit as the starch, pigtail & Saltfish is a must ,& lots of coconut milk ( no powder),no dumpling or Bhagi but to each their own. Looks good though, love d family vibes😊

Bucket I am giving u two ingredients to defeat kevin. Yes a little ketchup with your sugar. Season your chicken with a little oyster sauce and add a little peanut butter to finish off your stew chicken.
Not a fan of oil down but i had it trini style many times i actually enjoyed it especially when it a bit saucy. Dont fancy the grenadian way its too dry!!! But kindly ease off devesh and kenny nuh lol
There is no trini style oildown. Oildown is Grenada's National dish period. It seems like you never had a real good tasting and finger licking ten toes from a grenadian who can cook a real oildown. This is soup these trini made point blank not even near the version of oildown.
When you over season any meat it can taste good if you don’t add salt or pepper cook with out pepper oil down is chunky with coconut milk with any thing you use it is still oil down any body could cook and anything can cook i the boss i say so
