I was up at 4am to watch UMK & my gosh it was worth it! Just to see this! ..... never mind the Loreen stage invader confusion happening simultaneously on SVT.. this was crazier & much more fun! I loved his fake Hulk muscles & how the Cha Cha Cha dancers started out very professional then entered the "ring" and started wrestling each other!! Hilarious!! and the Maruv glitter part towards the end!! Classic! I'm lacking in severe sleep but thank you Finland! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Any mention of Maruv gets a thumbs up for me - Bang! Siren Song - easily in the top five of songs that for one reason or another never made it to the Contest!
This has to win the entire competition! Helsinki 2024 - I just can't see it going another way. Lordi were a revolution, Käärija is a revelation! Thank you, Finland! 🇫🇮❤️
@@dundaetf83 This will divide jurys for sure but I do see this getting some points. And I doubt Ukraine will do that well this year. The song isn't as good, it's hard for last years winner to win again and the emotional impact of the war isn't as intense anymore. It'll be in top 10 because Ukraine always is, they do have quality entrys but it will not win.

It was a total sensory overload, in the best possible way. And, having watched a couple of interviews with Käärijä, it could not happen to a more lovely guy! A number of naysayers are suggesting that the juries will not vote for this, but I beg to differ. They most certainly will appreciate the humor and, assuming they read the lyric in their own languages and understand a bit about Finnish culture, they will really appreciate what the song is saying. This is not a joke song - it's a humorous song done seriously and very well. His performance will stun people into submission and will win the televote as easily as he won it in Finland.
I LOVE this song and the DANCERS. ❤ 🇫🇮 I take that the ring and "evil dancers" represent fight with alcohol as the lyrics are about drinking and then feeling free.
I got the same feeling when I watched it Matt. What will be interesting is comparing peoples reactions to this alongside Loreen. I enjoyed the total package with Kaarija but Loreens song left me a little cold - but most folk seem to be losing their minds over her staging. So it’ll be interesting to see how televoters respond to both performances.

And one of them, Sami, speaks fluent English, because he lived his first years in US. They play punk. I know many people, who don’t like punk, heavy metal etc. I have to admit the Europe was not ready for a band with disabled musicians. Finnish is a language just like many other languages. No better or worse than other languages.
The stage is a pun those pallets are called Eurolava (Euro Pallet) in finnish, but lava can also mean stage, so he is performing in Euro Stage :D I know we probably wont win but we always have fun in Eurovision!!!
How can the did not like the dancers. I am a big fan of this dance choreography. All what they did , made a lot of sense, if you understand what is the song about.
I think Finland will win the televote and Sweden the juries. And I think Sweden will have a higher chance of winning it all because it is not to crazy for the non-Eurovision fans. But I hope Finland gets a higher placement in the end 😅
