here a small tactics either find an high ground or jump on to any object you manage to find
or just find a choke point a guns down that thing
bloodsucker was built as an dangerous and challenging mutant is an icon of STALKER listen to it attack sound
when it run it should make breathing noise
and if you on a small pot of water then look for the water splash

You don't need to kill the monster in the cave. You can run right past to the acid pool.

I saw two videos and both player made different choices, if you give sensor to Zotov, your next region will be Chemical Plant and if you give it to Ricter then you go to Garbage region. still don't know what will be the long term outcome...

Are you on xbox if so hold LB and hit left on the dpad

Press 7 on keyboard or use your weapon wheel to equip the artifact detector. Make sure it is equipped in your inventory first.

You probably have to do the other side quest before you can turn it in to Richter
