For new players to get up to lvl15-20 hunting I recommed going to RT immediately and hunt vixens. Especially now that Twen tokens are a thing. The MU you get back vs the tt imput is best in the game for new players mobs hands down.

the thing is that the path is not linear. you would think getting higher skills = better returns, but each activity gets more expensive as you level up. so no matter what you will be increasing your total spend, even if it becomes more efficient,

One of the first things I did was the sabakuma tunnel swanting then killed the broodmother then go out and back in and do it again. When you get a mob to 25 and repeat you get big skill points. Use a tt knife and it builds defensive skills faster. Another thing is complete the mentor program. Get a tree cutter and cut tree it helps with resources like fruit and dung

I noticed you doing something that a lot of people do in mining but not the smartest thing to do.
What is known about distance vs. depth, moving vs. stationary claim search.
Everyone's going to have different travel times, because their agility and strength, actual load in inventory and weight of it, will be all different, different terrains, speed you up or slow you down, rare to be on a level field that doesn't affect your run speed.
It's well known that the longer you scan out from center, MA states that you'll more than likely get a smaller claim. It simulates if you have enhancers that give you scan range vs. if no enhancers are in and you're running.
An interesting thing to note, that the difference between the F-105 and F-106, the 105 finds more common finds than are upper end if you know where to look and you have the skills to find it on a regular basis. The F-106 finds the same as the F-106 but has a slightly better chance of finding something like Xeremite Ore, Dunkel Particles, and Bismuth Fragments.
However, this assumes you know that the game isn't random, you know the terrain well, where you can find certain types of deposits, how deep are they and what their spawn rate and size patterns are.
The best well known finder for rare stuff are the F-213 Customized unlimited or limited, that finds Rugaritz with ease but you need to be skilled high enough to be able to detect it on a regular basis.

Levels 1-20 always hit Rocktropia, hit the zombie mission line at BAMF and you wont only skill but you will get a taste of some looooooooong hunts and good returns. Place never lets me down, and its always a good place to be over Camp Crunk and the adjacent Island

When you say level 10, do you mean looter skill or mining skill?

It depends on what your doing if your hunting yeah because the looter skills are for looting animal and robots different skills for each with mining looter skills don’t apply so with mining it would be mining skill but mainly prospector or surveyor

But at the same time you want level 10 on your other skills too so for hunting you would also want level 10 hit and damage as well and evade pretty much level 10 to all the main base skills with hunting there are like 5 base skills you want like hit damage looter skills aim and evade just for a start

I mean same with a casino. And people waste a lot more on that in the name of fun. At least this is a little more than pressing a button over and over and with the 10 to 1 exchange it at least feels like your spending more than you are. Me personally I like to play for the economics. And I wanna see the end game as well. You’d be surprised at how little I’ve spent in this game in the last 6 or 7 years

I had friends who treated the game as a casino, and friends who had the funds to play and just enjoyed themselves, then I had friends who grinded real life for every dollar and friends who had many dollars to spend. Imo - just like most browser/mobile games these days, if you don't have money, don't play a P2P game, don't go to casinos.
