lol thanks for the shout out, don't worry I am 52 and I love Marvel and DC comics and cartoons as well, deffo check out all the others like StarkMagicReviews and of course Craig and Rylan's Magic Reviews as well. Like you I hate basic math and had fun with Sequence as well. Hope you hit that 65K very soon and I don't think you will have to wait that long...

Great review, David! Your point about doing the math is a good one. Richard Osterlind wrote somewhere that pausing to do the math or go through a memory process during your trick is good - it shows in your face and demeanor that you are doing something, and the audience takes it as your "psychic" process. It makes your acting easier.
Thanks for the tip on the three editing dots, I'm still a newbie.

Great review. Simple effect but I think that, on the fly, might be too easy to screw up. Minimal pocket space though so ….. maybe. Food for thought. Thanks David

it's so easy - you wont screw up - just instruct them to slowly give you the shapes

Hi David, excellent review! Very thoughtful, thorough, informative, candid, and enjoyable! I enjoy and utilize all things 1914. I carry Sequence for EDC in my Maverick case. You can also see me using Sequence in an ESP card prediction routine on my TH-cam Channel. Thank you so much for all you do! Your friend, David

I’ve noticed a few tricks you have reviewed over the years require a small piece of sticky tape to adhere to cards, but that can/must be removable without causing damage (even if adhered to one card for a long time).
What sticky tape do you recommend for the various uses in this field?

I picked this up after I saw it in one on your unboxings.
I like it … but younger specs don’t get it/react.
The math is simple to me. It’s an EDC for me.
    Thanks for reviewing David 👍👍

I love that one, my only problem, is the third phase is for me quite weak as it is not much different from the 2nd phase.
The method is really good and simple (and figured it out before buying and received my copy)

Great review David , thanks brother👍. While I love good ESP based effects (my guilty pleasure..lol), the idea for such effects is knowing things you couldn't possibly know....which is magical. But proving you have a great memory isn't really magical enough for me so doesn't fit my style. But still a very cool demonstration regardless😊

Never give up on the math, David. My partner was a total mathsphobe and then went back at 45, got some tuition (plus me) and kicked that phobia into touch. So I know you are focussing on your magic, but just think of all the tricks you could go back to …👍

I'm not understanding this. What is the point of demonstrating you can remember 60 sets of symbols that you have had large amounts of time to memorize? I'm not impressed by this display of memory so even if you didn't actually memorize it what did you accomplish?

Excellent review. This one is not quite interesting enough to use and a clever spectator could figure it out. That said, it has inspired me to pull out my Zener cards. I have a simple deck stack that uses the same idea.

Dude. I hate math, too! And I also took basic Algebra in my senior year in high school and that was only because it was required to graduate. I always tip 20% and round up to the nearest dollar before doing the ‘calculation’, because that’s easier than doing any real math! And I’m not a dumb guy. I’m in I.T. for a living, I’ve built Role-Based Access Control systems from nothing, have spent time as an I.T. Systems Auditor, and I’ve edited books for author friends. I do pretty good figuring out puzzles and escape rooms. But math is where my brain fails me. As a result, I, too, don’t bother with math-related magic tricks because I fear that the concentration I need will take from my performance AND I fear getting the equation wrong in my head, thereby sending a “simple” trick crashing and burning into failure.
But after this review, I think I’ll pick this up. I do a lot of things with ESP cards, (I always have at least one set on me, if not an entire deck), and I think this could fit nicely into some of what I do. I don’t think I’d perform it all the time, but I can think of a few scenarios where it may come in handy.
    Thanks for another great review!

Dont do this for math nerds, they put values to everything. I honestly have been on the fence about this cause esp is not my wheelhouse (yet). But i will say the edc in my Maverick is appealing and the cards are durable so thats a pluce and it takes so little space its a nice little weapon that will last quite some time for under thirty bucks. When dee drops this to thirteen like je did cafe hero ill jump. Can you devinate that Dee? Thats thousands of magicans thinking the same thing right NOW.

I asked a lay friend to watch the trailer. They could see how it must work, although not the specifics. The final "telepathy" phase is nonsense as they've read out the symbols to you. There are better ways to spend £25.
