Biopesticides Production Training in Machakos County, Kenya

Six young scientists from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania are undergoing training on the mass production of entomopathogenic fungi in Machakos County, Kenya.
In a rigorous laboratory exercise led by João Araújo, a mycologist at the Technical University of Denmark and assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen, the team is investigating fungi intended for use as a component of biological control of pests, including fall armyworms

Great work! You can also try to get fungi that attack banana bunchy top vector aphid Pentalonia nigronervosa. I recommend the work and encourage the scientists to collaborate with their countries' NPPOs when they return home. This is important because through the NPPOs these innovations can easily be disseminated across the country.
