Today we are building a witchy overgrown castle tower that's octagon shaped with a layered curved roof. I also included a simple round roof tutorial too! Huge shout out to my friend Brick @NotSoCozyGamer for building in todays video with me. Brick has a speed build of the flower arch on his channel since my footage got corrupted while we built it in todays video. (it will be posted tonight) We will be turning this tower into a CASTLE in a future stream, so stay tuned!

I was just thinking of ways to create a circular roof for my DIY gazeebo build. This is so helpful ❤. Love the tower build, to me it looks more like a fairy castle 😊

It would be wonderful if Palia expanded the types of building blocks they've given us. Proper stairs would be great, for one thing. Your stairs look great, but I'm lazy and would love a few sets of pre-built staircases to use. LOL. I expect if people ask for them, the Palia team will make it for the game. They seem to be really good about listening to their player base.
Absolutely gorgeous! I can understand getting a bit demotivated after working on it for so long, I get antsy after just a few spiral steps with the wood plank paver things, haha! So great that you had help to keep you going and I love you’re sharing that with us, it helps me to be more patient with myself. Your builds are so inspiring, thank you so much!

How did you get around the stack height limit with the gourmet butcher block and stone pavers? I'm trying it out and haven't even made it to the doorway with it telling me that about the limit, although I did make my tower a bit wider
Hi 😊doing something similar..Any advice on how to fill in the door (8th side) with the tiles? I have the grid off but am having trouble attaching them from up higher since I’m leaving the bottom open as a door
hi! we did this on stream last night too! its tricky but you have to rotate sometimes the stones to attach them to spots that are empty below it etc, it works the same for the windows we did last night
How did you get the rooftop to attach? Did you end up moving the structure from the ground (not working for me *cry*) or re-build the whole thing up top??
we built the first part around the base to measure it, than grabbed with the alt key to the ground to finish building, and than dragged it back to the top. its really finicky but you have to grab it at a certain spot to ensure it places correctly, you could ALSO build it at the top without removing it too if thats easier, both ways work

Did you keep a note of how many pieces of the furnishing limit you had used up for this. Like maybe an item count in total and an item count for just structure build :D:D Amazing anyways much more up my witchy vibes for this game than the treehouses everyone was doing :D
sorry I do not have an exact amount since I wing most of my builds. I have multiple plots so I do not run into a item limit issue. I know that this is no where close to the building block limit though!!

for sure, that is something I mention in my video the stone has a bad problem with it, where as the wood does not, so the wood option may be best for those who dont like that! but I love we can be creative like this with the blocks so it doesnt bother me personally, I hope they will fix the issue with the textures doing that for us!

6-8hrs for the build not including resource grind. It was about a week and half of prep. He was extremely helpful 💗

When starting the tower I can’t get the two stone floor pieces to clip together what am I doing wrong

you can connect/snap the pieces together but these ones we had to manually place without the grid

i built them with the beams! and adjusted the wall pieces to clip into each other

you can craft more under the all tab at the workbench

They show up if you do that quest, then go to the workbench and have it selected for never-crafted items.
