There's a lot of concepts in these old issues that could be retooled for modern stories like that Moon-Man character or the Negative Superman.
I really liked the look of Funnyface from early Superman comics. I know he appeared briefly in the 80s, but not much since. Would make a creepy villain today.
I have vol 1 and 2 ...but sadly never bothered to read them due to having so many other omnis! Good review
