hi Sheena, bale reverse lang sya ng mga nadiscuss ko and we can base it on the triangle guide... to get the markdown (markdown rate x selling price) then to get the sale price (selling price - markdown)
sorry shortened videos ko para di masyadong mahaba.. ayaw kasi manood ng iba pag mahaba videos hehe. i'll try to put up a separate video with examples. salamat po
Shiela is a student who does buy-and-sell on her spare time. She buys and sells anything she believes her classmates or schoolmates would buy. If she bought a perfume for P150 a bottle and she wanted a margin of 20%, how much will she sell it for? If she wants a markup of 20% based on cost, how much will be her markup and the selling price? Pa answer po
Prof Jason, what if the mark up is negative? what should I put in the table prof? For example, Selling price = P365.00 Cost = P450.00 Mark - up = ? P365.00 - P450.00 = - P85 (?)
It would still have to be based from the original selling price then declared as a higher mark down percentage. Exactly from 50℅ to 70℅ mark down..all based from the original selling price
Hello po prof, tanong ko lang po kung paano po isolve yung problem kapag ganto. -what is the retail price for a product with a net price of 87000, less trade discounts of 5% 8% and 9%. Thank you po!

why is the selling price lower than the cost?
@@ProfJasonX It is already a given prof Jason
I have another question Prof Jason, in finding the markdown rate, what price should I base? The Original selling price or the new selling price?
Okay kasi in that case it will be called as a mark down..but yeah i guess follow mo nalang yang nklagay sa given
It would still have to be based from the original selling price then declared as a higher mark down percentage. Exactly from 50℅ to 70℅ mark down..all based from the original selling price

Thank you po!
Your net price or list price serves as your base. To get the retail price, you would have to less 5% from 87k, 8% from 87k and 9% from 87k
