HI, I tested my factory stator, and I have .5 ohms on every Phase. I am getting output from the recitifier (your model) for 14.x volts, but the batttery is not taking a charge at the terminals. The harness for the output is in the main harness, and I dont want to tear apart. Does a fusible link exist between the recitifier and the battery? Been looking but cant find anything. I assume if I take the output from the recitfier direct to the battery, it would all work.
We made an error on our RZR 900 and reversed polarity on the battery, We heard a fireworks kind of sound and that was it. We put the battery correctly and the RZR starts and runs but is not charging. What would be damaged at this point? I have your Rectifier and I hope I did not damage it. I think I damaged the stator. What do you think?
I just replaced my sprag clutch the old bolts sheared off and were in the case by the stator it fired right up with a check engine code of 168-3 which says voltage regulator Voltage Above Normal, Or Shorted To High Source do you think voltage regulator or Stator ?
They will definitely be very warm in normal use as they have a lot of current running through them, but not to the point of melting. From your description it is hard to tell?
Took the flywheel bolt off .. I have the puller put it on the flywheel impact wouldnt break it loose .. then i used a breaker bar still couldnt get the puller to the flywheel loose and started striping threads of the puller .. why wont my flywheel come off ?
They can be stuck on very tight sometimes. You don't want to tighten the puller so much it strips threads. When they are stuck this tight, a little heat from a torch on center of the flywheel hub can help it expand a bit and loosen. I will also tighten the puller very tight so there is tension on it, then hit the puller bolt with a 5lb hand sledge. Then tighten a bit more, and hit again. A few rounds of this with tension on it can break the flywheel loose.
You will often notice a burning smell from the regulator or wiring. You can definitely see a low or high voltage on your display voltmeter that will indicate a problem.
@@Rmstatorinc I purchased a regulator rectifier from this company, I called them yesterday to ask a couple questions. They told me that they had no tech support???? I will not buy anything from anybody that doesn't have Product support . I suggest you guys do the same......I will find other forums to get the word out..
Thank you for the installation video. Much appreciated. I purchased my stator thru RM Stator as well. Comes with a 2 yr warranty. Thanks again.
Excellent, glad to help!
Use blue locktight because if you use red locktight and need to change those again they'll most likely snap. Blue is for 1/4" - 3/4" bolts red is for

Thanks for the video buddy very helpful!!! Can a bad stator cause the car to turn of at 11.5 ro 12 dc?
I was hoping to get the direction of the flywheel retainer bolt left or right.
Do I have to replace the flywheel if I replace the stator?

Damn I just need to see the best way to get the case off mine is stuck
Do I have to replace my flywheel when I replace my stator?
Is this similar replacement to the hisun 500 same as rhino 660
Where is the stator located on a 2016 Sportsman 1000 xp high lifter?
I believe that is the same motor used in the RZR you see in the video. Stator install would be the same process. Under the right side cover.
Just installed the regulator and the yellow wires are hot to the Touch is this normal?

RMSTATOR I’m fixing to call up there
Would you know how to do this on a Can-Am 1000?
Amigo me podrías mandar tu contacto para saber una información sobre estátor de polaris medidas gracias por su atención prestada saludos

What symptoms do you have when those go out?

Will a bad stator cause a no spark issue? My rzr cranks and cranks but has no spark
Fuel pump bro
@@cadecollard3746 nope it was a no spark issues caused by a bad ignition switch
@@ws6sandman919 ah crap😂 I was just asking cuz mines doing the same thing and I'm hoping it's just the fuel pump lmao
@@cadecollard3746 good when you turn the key on you should hear the fuel pump prime dude.
@@ws6sandman919 yeah and it don't so I'm kinda just hoping that's the only thing wrong with it.
