Bass in itself is distortion also consider the input signal. So when I chose Stetsom to run my subs that are 4inch coils usually 3k rms I like to run 15’s I already knew the subs would be low sensitivity especially 4inch coils mated to strong cones. I play and am tuned to 25hz so 18-28hz I’m good. Taramps and Stetsom I will always recommend it’s up to the individual to make sure they have a proper power supply. I know my Stetsom amp are technically “full range” but just tune the amps to what subs and box your rockn and you will be impressed and with the money you save on the buying Brazilian amps you can get the stronger subs or find a sub builder or like me consider building your own. But ya I could see using these amps on weaker subs with weak coils. I got two solo X 18 motors on a Stetsom Export 8k 2ohm and the amp is definitely stronger then the subs. Have mercy say my solo X’s to my Hairy Brazilian Beast of an amp. Oh on a U.S Alt 250 “hot” big3 done and two XSD7500’s with dual power and ground EVERYWHERE 👍🏽🔊😎 97 GMarquis
I agree they are very good for the price. I've had one for almost a year and at first I would clip it until it started blinking the red protect light. That went on for about 3 months and only actually went into protect mode a couple times. It's still working well as of to this day! A month ago I bought a another brand I won't mention their name because they are trying to fix it. Anyways that 8k rms amp got stuck in clip mode twice and had to send it back twice with my same set up the taramps is on
Taramps are beast if you know how to use them they cost like a forth of what sundown cost but work way better when I ran sundown amp I bout burned up my truck

Mannnnn it puts out some power for sure!!! Wayyy more violent now. Running a brand X 250 with 80Ah of LTO so voltage is good. If you have the power to running it you are good. If you got trash electrical it may not work for you.
Yes I know not the biggest fan of Taramp but the price per dollar can't be beat. What's your opinion of a Taramp Bass Line? Kind of like the 8k Bass Line yes its more expensive but I know I hear its clearer than a MD.
Seems every research video I see big systems there running them strapped , What I've learned is that with theses amp you gotta run hella batterys in line , for me I'm looking for a high-powered amp 12K where I don't need so many batteries 3 4 batteries that's the direction of my research
