But Liam being a baritone, the rest are tenors I'm pretty sure, it's actually harder for him to hit higher notes, and yet he has the best range out of anyone in 1D. Also Liam is incredibly skilled when it comes to both ad libbing and harmonising. He is so comfortable with his voice that he is able to effortlessly go through new runs on stage on the spot. That's not something a lot of singers can do. Liam is also very versatile and can effortlessly cover songs in very different genres. Zayn's voice only really suits pop and RnB sort of settings.

But now he is 1 around the world with Slow Hands(and people know it as a hit)and his album Flicker and now people are talking about Niall and Louis too. But Nobody is talking that Liam has got an incredible voice, is a bit powerful.

Many of their songs sound even better live than studio, especially this one. The live performance is definitely wayyyyyyy better than the original, thanks to Liam's falsetto and note-change as well as Zayn singing the chorus. It's breathtaking how their voices harmonized beautifully like heaven. It would be my ultimate hopeless hope to hear them singing a song together one day.
Dude , if you had watched many 1D live performances , you would know Liam usually changes notes always like in 'Rock me ', this songand many songs..... But so sad , if Harry changes lyrics everyone will go wow but if Liam doess anything different, they don't rise their voice

I don't what's the reason, but that's what I think it is : Summer Love was written by Niall, and to know that you wrote a song and you didn't get to sing at least a little part of it would make you sad. I think that's what he is feeling. He should be a part of this song since he was the one who wrote it.
that's what Liam said in an interview. he said Nialls voice is to precious not to be heard and he writes a lot of the songs but doesn't give himself enough credit or parts. Niall just chooses not to sing in it. Nialls voice is amazing but let's be honest. his voice might not have been able to pull this song off. you need to have like an Ariana Grande voice to pull this off. I'm not saying Niall sucks at all. I'm just saying you need deep and hectic vocals for this song.
