    I appreciate the way he is talking. I can clearly note that he has a big connection and love to music, very melodical. That leaves this precious ideas directly into someones heart.

    I have watched this video 4 times and am sure to watch it again and again. It is truly wonderful. I have been praying about something and had been asking God to send angel messages to help me understand how to better pray about it and this lecture appeared in my feed. Thank you so very much for this lecture!

    This individual is always so inspiring!
    The thing I've come to understand is that no one is trying to say we're HUMANLY perfect, but we are SPIRITUALLY perfect and knowing that, the human recedes so that the divine shines through. It's beautifully simple and simply beautiful.

    I watch this video and 6 things arise in me:
    1) how to escape from pain in the body?
    I get cramps that debilitate and paralyze me.
    what to do?
    is there a metaphysical explanation?
    2) I love someone
    who I don't believe loves me back...
    this, sadly, has been the story of my entire life.
    the pain is so awful, it's soul-crushing.
    3) rage. I have so much fucking rage in me.
    I am constantly flooded with memories that rape me,
    and fill me with rage.
    4) grief: 999 trillion layers of grief in me.
    there's no escape.
    5) sometimes I look in the mirror and I am in love with what I see.
    other times, I am disgusted.
    I am old, ugly, fat, frumpty-dumpty.
    6) I am so very very very ashamed at the state of my life...

      Hello Radical Honesty. I'm sorry for what you're experiencing. I have found the talks of Christian Sundberg, which are all over TH-cam, to be very helpful in regard to what you have said. He is someone who remembers planning this life and why he chose horrendous challenges. This is a completely different perspective from CS, which is also wonderful but maybe might leave some people feeling excluded, unless they go all in.

    I'm becoming Christian Scientist and Pentecostal and I'm going to become a member of both churches. I hope I can manage both churches without one of them getting offended at me for not being at a service.

    I tried to attend 2 services today at 2 different churches because one is at 10 and one is at 11 but I didn't make it in time and I didn't want to leave during the service in case it would be rude to the speakers, although I'm going to have to figure out how to attend both of them.

    Christian Science says everything in life is perfect by God's design, but when a human doesn't feel its perfect, the Church is there to help the member to re-realize everything is perfect. Also, how would anyone know everything is heavenly unless they experienced imperfection as a contrast? Without the contrast, perfection would be normal; therefore, there would be no need for practitioners and Science & Health because people wouldn't recognize when it wasn't "normal?"

    Did Jesus ask people to reflect on their negative emotions (hatred) to bring about their healing?

    • @EvanMehlenbacher
      @EvanMehlenbacher  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Jesus brought the love of God to people which often exposed negative emotions and brought them to the surface. Like healing the lunatic. Jesus' love of him brought a great amount of hate and conflict within to the surface, but Jesus did not give the hate power. He disarmed it with Love and freed the man of it.
      He did teach us that we must love rather than hate. So, yes, if a person is full of hate, it is helpful to recognize that hate and then pray and work to dissolve it with love.

    Was Mrs. Eddy's healing of the infidel inclusive of a psychological cleansing?

    • @EvanMehlenbacher
      @EvanMehlenbacher  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Eddy's healing work was a spiritual cleansing of the human mind. Truth cleansing out fears and false beliefs that prop up suffering, and allowing the healing influence of Truth and Love to be felt more tangibly in mind and body.
