Many of these young women need counseling. When you have the first child, if you can’t afford one child you should make every effort not to have anymore children. The children suffer and become victims of crime. This is a major problem in Jamaica. Children having children that they are unable to raise in a stable home.
I have some terrible experience with living with a single mother… and I was a young father also I help her till listen it all down down on me she make me loose interest in everything all I wanna do is stay home plus also a lot of other family issue .. really these young men and ladies we all need help

Not everyone is rich and not everyone wish to throw away their children. Children are blessings not because you became pregnant before you were ready ,not because you became pregnant for a man who leaves you and your child behind and doesn't care, that doesn't mean you should throw away your child. it's not just in Jamaica this is happening it's happening all over the world, children having children. even adults having children and are not able to take care of kids good but we still bring our children in to this world. we still fight to survive with our children. we still fight for our children to become stronger than we were when they become men and women. you have nothing good to say,don't say anything. did you true any of your kids away? or were you rich so you didn't have to struggle like some of us does with our children?.

It would appear from her earlier statements, that she did have some kind of protective structure around her in the person of her Mom, who must have tried in some way to protect her and warn her, but like many young people today, she chose her own path. She is very young, and far too young for the responsibilities that she has, I really can't judge. I hear her say that she cannot take a minimum wage job, with so many mouths to feed, but a minimum wage job is better than nothing. I can only pray for her that in time she will gain wisdom, guidance and direction, and that the community will rally around her and help her as it seems as if they are doing now. Unfortunately, choices have consequences but most of us didn't do the half of what our parents told us to do when we were young either. My heart goes out to her, and as for the baby father, I won't waste my breath.
