Hello and welcome to this weird crevasse of the internet where we get really excited about music (particularly Taylor Swift) and break down our favourite albums and songs. Our names are Bonny and Emily, and our aim with these videos is to share our love for music and also share context and understanding around the songs, by highlighting breaking down the lyrics, melodies and production. I just had to rewatch this because the first time was a blur. (A testament to my emotions lol.) I have to say, before the vlog really gets going, the editing of the beginning montage as Taylor’s tour intro of “it’s been a long time coming” plays over the images…truly brilliant and beautiful. 💜💜

The feeling of the entire city turning into the eras tour is insane. I went to Buenos Aires and it was exactly the same, especially bc sooo many people from LATAM flew to Argentina for it, so the eras tour and TS parapharnalia was EVERYWHERE! Its such an amazing feeling.

I've known of you two for quite some time but only very recently became a fan myself and I wish I hadn't have waited so long. Seeing your unabashed, unashamed joy in this fandom has been one of the MOST healing things to witness. The way neither of you are ever afraid to scream or panic with joy is truly something beautiful to witness. Growing up as a fan of many things I've never had the space or the support to experience the things I love openly. These have always been treated as trivial things I shouldn't spend all my time on. Growing up and getting older of course has helped me learn that it's more than okay to celebrate the things that bring you joy and with a role model like Taylor how could we not follow in her footsteps.
This is all too say though I've only been a fan for a short time, it feels as though I've known you both forever. Thank you for the incredibly welcoming, warm, kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful space you have created. I'm so grateful to have found this little haven and so so grateful to both of you for healing something I hadn't even realised was broken. Keep doing what your doing because you are both rays of sunshine and you deserve every incredible opportunity that you've had.

WOW. I still can’t believe the Sydney N4 surprise songs. WCS x Ivy was a SUPERIOR combination. I’m embarrassed to admit it took me 23 seconds to realise that taylor was singing ivy (even though i had it on my top 10 dream surprise songs lol) but when i realised my first thought was omg i wonder if Bonny and Emily are here. There is something special about seeing pure joy it is so rare and that is what this video is about PURE JOY !!!!!!! Watching both of you savor every moment brought tears to my eyes !!!! Years ago my wife and I went to a Brooks and Dunn concert at the Blossom Music Center. As we looked around the Audience we were wondering why are all these young girls doing here?? It was packed with them. The opening act pops out it was a 16 or 17 year Old Taylor Swift in near the Exact Outfit you guys were wearing to the Scott Swift concert you guys went too. This tall slightly awkward kid comes out and and transformed into this amazing performer. When her set was gone the young girls all left with her. It was the start of the Swiftys and man it has been fun to see where it started !!!!!

I started getting into Taylor Swift a few months ago due to the curiosity why so many people are deeply connected to her music and seeing the popularity around the tour. I always listened to her popular songs that came on the radio and liked them but I wanted to dive in more so I stumbled upon your channel and the breakdown/analysis the two of you do is absolutely phenomenal. It really helps me understand the situation/mindset Taylor may have been in when writing her albums especially when given context. I have really come to appreciate her as an artist/person. it’s more than just an eras tour at this juncture.
i personally am lucky enough to go two nights in singapore but oz’s eras tour series was the most pivotal for me considering how i felt so genuinely happy seeing deserving individuals like emily and bonny got the such god-tier VIP treatments and other oz swifties getting the surprise songs that were-as emily and bonny like to say-superior and offensive! and the fact that i didn’t feel even a single ounce of jealousy made me realize that how this community has helped me to evolve into someone who can also find joy in other’s happiness. and i hope i’ll always belong here ❤️
