I think this is going to be THE MODE if you are not that into Ultimate Team. I am not saying I won't give UT a try. But I am not that into Madden's version and I worry this will be very similar. I am happy it looks like we got a ranked mode where we can use "base/real" team rosters. I am looking forward to learning more about this mode.
i wonder if once you "start" you have to be the same team each time or if you can switch it up. maybe it will be like MLB The SHOW BR Run where you you can forfeit your run if you want to start over with a different team?
@@MacPack Good question. It actually may be like a hybrid between the MUT style H2H season and the elimination like MLB's BR mode. Maybe if you win so many games, you get into playoffs and then if you lose, you're done. The real 12 team playoffs is 3 to 4 extra games at the end of the season. Or maybe they just keep the MUT style season format. Win 6 games and got to playoffs for 1 or 2 games then National Championship instead of Super Bowl.
MLB The Show does have 2 "ranked" modes. Their main 1 is Diamond Dynasty which is basically MUT. And then they do have regular teams ranked where you can play as any MLB team against other players online and try to rank up, I dont think that mode is played much. I think this mode is being overlooked because (A) we dont have much information about it yet and (B) i think the majority of people are more interested in recruiting and stuff
@@rockytoptom I agree about playbooks. Just being able to change your playbook “not necessarily a custom” would be nice. Also uniform options would be nice. I do like the 3 minute quarters though. Makes the games go by quickly
@@MacPack My buddy like the 3 min too. I feel like it changes the entire strategy for many teams and the playing style of teams or players. Now all people do is waste the clock by using the entire play clock, get one score and the half is over. There should be options. Options are always great

This mode definitely intrigues me. I love online dynstaty but yea the scheduling becomes awful. So this could be fun! July can't get here fast enough.
