This is a detailed step by step Esports Mascot Logo design process tutorial. This tutorial consists of two parts. In the first part, i will draw a sketch of mascot logo and in the second part i will convert this sketch into a vector logo design.
The tool used for this design process is INKSCAPE, which is a vector based graphic design software which is not only an open source software and also a powerful alternative of Adobe illustrator.
In this logo design tutorial, i will design an Espots mascot logo by using inkscape from very start to very finish.
You can follow this tutorial if you are using Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator or any other vector based graphic design software, because i will use simple tools e.g. circle, rectangle and pen tool, which are available in each and every vector based graphic design software.
In this logo design tutorial i will explain each and everything in easy steps, from creating logo design idea to the final design.

i just started learning how can you remember how and what tool to use?
it would be helpful if you explained why you are doing certain processes. Why did you do everything between 5.26 and 5.45 to end up with the same thing. What is the purpose of "paste in place"? if you're just a beginner in inkscape its very hard to keep up.
Thank you for your efforts! I've a question... How could the command icons like Snapping Tools move/set to vertically at rightside of the screen?
You can also set the icons on the right side of screen by selecting VIEW and then select WIDE. It will automatically set Snap Control Bar And Command Bar at the right side of your screen.

when i click align and distribute at 2:14 i dont even have an option for fill and stroke, please help.
where can i find the "to fill" icon after clicking fill and stroke... i cant see it in my tool bar or anywhere in my inkscape.. can u pls help me. thanks! i am so much interested in learning this can u pls slowdown a lil bit in your next vid :) thanks again!
You can always change the playback speed
Can you just digitize the sketch and let the program do the rest automatically?

@@RoyalLogos I mean, does Inkscape has an option to automatically recognize lines of drawing, to outline them, so that user don't have to do that manually like you did in this video. Sorry for unclear question.
@@lesalabs There is a option, which is select PATH and select TRACE BITMAP. For this you have to darker the lines on paper, by using any black marker. But the lines will never be smooth. It will convert the image into vector but in a distorted way.
