I love learning for the lightbulb moment you mentioned. When you don't understand something, but then all of a sudden it randomly clicks, and like the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle falls into place and your entire perspective shifts so dramatically, my favourite feeling! The other favourite feeling regarding studying is the flow state where you just forget everything around you as you focus intently on the task at hand, and time flies super quickly.
Number 10 really hit me. Sometimes we forget about the privilege we have. Studying is a gift; learning gives us the tool to understand and be free. Thanks Jade for remember us this.
3 reasons why I love learning 1- makes me feel a sence of power that i didn't knew existed within me ✨ 2- the confidence i have in my day to day conversation with people 3- gives me this new perspective to see my life 💖
1. It makes me feel smart. (That might sound dumb but I don't always feel smart and when I study something and understand it, that changes how I feel about myself.) 2. It challenges me to go out of my comfort zone. 3. When you have a certain type of knowlegde, you can help people. I want to study psychology and everything I learn I can apply to something in my life. That makes a difference in my opinion.
With finals just around the corner this is so helpful because I’m definitely guilty of procrastinating due to being tired of studying. Thanks for the motivation I need to be productive. Good look on exams everyone! 🙏🏽💛
3 reasons I love studying: 1) It makes me feel accomplished and confident 2) It opens up new opportunities that I would not have without it 3) It means I can understand more concepts in my favorite booms, movies and documentaries The makeup looked lovely Jade! Hope everyone is safe and healthy, I love the positivity in these comments!
So me and my friends got assigned a group project a month ago. It was chemistry, which teaches the strictest professor. We immediately agreed that if we got 19.5/20 and up, we would go on a shopping spree. It was dew yesterday and I've never enjoyed a project more in my life. Noone mentioned the shopping spree once and we completely forgot about it . I reminded them today. We haven't gotten the mark yet but that taught me that I need motivation to succeed.
Hi, Jade! I used to love studying when I was younger because everything was happy and fun. However, as I got older, it seemed like schoolwork was getting more and more and I’m forced to use most of my time on studying and less on the other things I love. I felt trapped and hopeless. My parents always encourage me to keep studying, as if it’s the only goal in life. I used to have a balance between my own free time and studying time, but the big change was freaking me out. Gradually, my passion of studying was fading out day by day. But fortunately, I realized that I shouldn’t hate something just because people keep telling me to do it. I should keep the original intention. Now I’m trying to bring back the pure, true heart that just simply loves learning when everything’s quiet down. ❤😌 Thank you for making this video to remind me the importance of studying, knowing why you’re studying, and the true passion of it.❤
I can definitely relate to this, now I don't even like anything, I just live, go to school and I'm always tired...the thought of studying gives me migraines.
1. I love working through a tough subject and then finally understanding it. 2. I love being able to challenge my underlying biases and perspectives. 3. I love being able to hold interesting and meaningful conversations with people.
with my a levels in a week and a bit it has been difficult recently to remember why i love studying but.... - i love having moments of sudden realisation and making connections across subjects (like when i realised the leader of a rebellion in my tudor history course wrote one of the poems we study in english) - i love being able to explain interesting things to people about what ive learnt and answer their questions - i love the act of sitting down in a quiet space just with myself and getting really focused on one thing. i love the self care part of studying, choosing the playlist, making tea, getting comfy
1. Will durant said we stand atop the shoulders of giants; the most iconic figures that have their ideas permeate into the most fundamental strata of our civilization and societies. I study in hopes to contribute to the growing strata of knowledge. 2. Self-actualization. Having experienced something akin to what Dr Maslow coined a "peak experience" from the profound insights into our world, I wish to pursue my latent potential and see for myself where my abilities take me! 3. Aiming to be aware, mindful and fully cognizant of the ideas that grip us since our birth into this world. Every society has its unique environmental makeup that influences every citizens' comportment and ideals. Staying on top of that with education, allows one to understand their own placement in terms of the ideas and values that continue to persist, be it from a longstanding cultural tradition or from the newest political campaign, education allows for one to become aware and take control of their ideas . This also brings humility and gratitude. Great video! Thanks for allowing me to reflect on why I love to study too! Keep doing what you do! Cheers from Singapore
Reasons I love studying: 1. The more I learn, the more I can understand the world 2. It will give me the tools to make a difference 3. It empowers me and gives me the ability to challenge people's attitudes - I think this is really important, especially as a girl, because then no one can say that you don't know what you're talking about or you're not good enough also thanks for making me realise how lucky I am to be able to study and getting me motivated! I've got A-levels next week and I was feeling really stressed and just didn't have the motivation to revise but after watching this I'm ready to start a day of revision! PS: good luck to everyone doing exams right now! We can do this!
I love learning because 1) It Empowers me 2) It gives me new ideas to improve myself 3) As you said it is a gift or a chance by which we can made a huge change around us and improve our society
I really love watching "why I love study videos" while studying cuz it simply makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing even though I hate studying :)
I really love the feeling when you motivated yourself to lay your phone down and start learning and studying, and you have this warm feeling of fulfillment afterwards, because you know you´ve done something that makes sense and brings you forward in life. Also i really love the moment when your in some random daily situation and some topic comes up, you´ve had a lecture or something about and you can drop this "Did you know that...?". I really love learning for having these inspiring conversations with others, especially when you can put your knowledge together and expand your view on certain things. Also after my gap year after school i now in uni realize how much joy it gives you to study and to be occupied by something. I hope you all enjoy your day and find a good balance between studying and taking time off, because the most important is to be happy and content with our daily lifes, right? Sending lots of love from Germany!
I’m so glad you’ve released this video at this time. I’ve just finished my set of mocks for year 12 and I lost interest in studying. But I think we have more once the year 11s and 13s leave so this will really help me keep engaged with my revision and hopefully I do well! Thanks Jade x
I want to tremendously thank you jade. thanks for reminding me that true self love is nourishing my brain with knowledge, that i have a chance to do so, that it is the greatest gift that i can give to myself. thankyou for this amazing video!
I know you probably won't read this but Jade, HONESTLY SPEAKING, I NEVER EVER liked studying, everytime I tried to study, I would LITERALLY wanna throw up, It madee sick! But after watching your videos and reading your Book, MAANNNNN, NOW I LOVEEEEEEE STUDYING, NO JOKE! LIKE...Studying is gaining knowledge...And It helps you so much in life! Thank you so much for inspiring me! 🤧 You are the BEST, May God bless you because you are doing such a good job, thx 🥺❤️
The main big reason why I love learning is because it helps me understand the world, how it works, what happened that makes this or this that way, learning about other people, cultures and so other way of viewing the world is so motivating
Ahh I just sat down to revise for my upcoming exams and here comes Jade's video to motivate me even further!! Also, these kinds of vids of urs are a must watch for every student. Studying is more often than not, a compulsion for us and gets associated with pressure and deadlines and it takes the fun out of learning. Remembering that "Knowledge is power" makes one see studying in such a better light. PS: U uploading a video is always my casual magic
1) my studies make me connect with so many people, even in the stress even if its only talk about studies, one day we know we will all go our sperate ways..my syllabus is what atleast keeps the whole class together and interacting before it all goes silent to once in a blue moon conversations. 2) When i read a complex document or accounting sheet which would make no sense to me before i am able to comprehend its meaning and answer because im a little more educated on it than i was years ago. 3) When i smash through an exam that i feel like i wont make through or doubt myself... that is an extra boost of confidence. Gives me a pat on the back moment.
Hi, Jade! I just wanted to tell you that your videos have helped me throughout the past year and a half. You are someone I go to when things get really hard. I love watching your videos because you inspire me to grow and to question things and to build my own version of reality. I am so grateful and I wish you the best in life ❤
When I was studying (~25 years ago) I wasn't nearly as reflective as you are. I didn't think that much about my studies back then, but listening to you I agree 100% with all of your thoughts. And the most important thing: I don't regret my studies. I would do it again!
I Love learning because......it excites me to discover more about how the world functions and how history has shaped our views, traditions, fashion, lifestyles. Another reason is because it is absolutely fascinating to study about the infinite things that make people and their lives fascinating. I also love learning because I feel more confident and energized to share my ideas and beliefs with others. The power of knowledge is irreplaceable !
my reasons: - in order to change the world for the better, i have to understand it. i can't just walk into a social movement without understanding the struggles of the people affected, the history behind it, viable alternatives to the status quo, etc. - i LOVE making associations between different things i've learned. the similarity and relatedness between individual psychological state and how the socioeconomic system works, power in physics and power in society, how and why certain cultures share customs and social norms, how and why different systems of oppression are actually very similar! it's like detective work :)) - i get more interesting and able to impress people. by having a tiny bit of knowledge of every topic, i can talk to many different people about their job, hobby or field of study - even if it's just by asking the right questions! and i can show off the things i'm actually good at, like knowledge of humanitarian and social sciences.
i’m a French 19 years old girl and a biology student. This year I’ll pass the vet exam to be integrated into the French Vet school. I just buy your book and I just wanna say that your book is a jewel. It is so interesting and resourceful ! It helps me a lot and I just want u to know that even French students follow you and your advices. Thank you so much ✨✨
I am currently experiencing a major period of burnout but, for me, learning is the reason I live. The world is so vast and we know so much and yet so little about it, I want to leave this world feeling as if I at least tried to understand some of it :)
I love studying because (1) It gives me new perspectives, lens as you said and helps me to see and understand the world more clearly (2) Studying and learning is the only thing that I can proudly say “This is my thing, this is what I love, what I am good at!” (3) It’s a unique world with only me and the knowledge
1) i love studying because, we have so many things to discover and research about the world like a humans existing in the world and to answer for question 'how the world is built' 2) it opens so much opportunities to apply to a dream university, apply for dream job and so on. You feel yourself confident when you can qualitatively discuss about every theme in a group and openly share with your opinion about it. You become open-minded and your outlook about the life, studying opens up from a new perspective and your can look at the world from a different angle 3)it much better than scrolling instagram, tiktok or whatever social media. When you spend your time on phone and seeing others lives which are living your dream life. Albeit, you could create your dream life better than that people on social media. Your self love begins to decrease, you feel like you are dumb and you know nothing, you feel like stupid and don't being able to stop spending time on social media, lost your motivation and so on. It's all about harmful of not studying and not be interested in nothing except social media. Albeit, you can spend this time on reading useful articles, books, videos, resources and even take tips and repeat the lifestyle from your favourite succeeded people all around the world and apply new skills from studying into your life.
My reasons: 1) I love to understand things that explain the world around me. Like that lense you talked about. 2) Good teachers can make learning so interesting and created some of the most magical moments in my life 3) Solving one task after another can be really rewarding. You feel like you did something valuable. 4) Good grades actually motivate me too. However, I easily to start base my value on Grades and compare myself, so I try to be careful with that one
Thank you so much, I'm going through a phase of non motivation for studies and I have felt very overwhelmed. This video helped me so much I think I'm going back on track. Thanks for making me realise how lucky I am to be able to study and to do so on topics I'm passionate about
as a muslim fan, u really helped me alot, like alot, the 3 reasons i love studying 1-the more u learn the more powerful u will be in every way 2- in islam seeking knowledge is something that allah (god) loves, its like a big deed, god said i love those who are seeking knowledge and that’s why i want to learn more even i know it needs risks 3- u made me realize alot of things, we have an opportunity to learn, but there are people who wants it very bad but cant because they dont have enough money, the way you talk about learning is adorable! it makes want to be like you, im trying to learn as much as i can from u because school is in 3 weeks, im going to grade 10th , im excited, nervous, anxious, great, i cant tell if im happy or sad, last year i didnt do well, but im trying to change it, deeply in my heart, im afraid to step out of that prison in my head, but i know thats gonna change everything, freedom, im gonna try my best this year, and i really wanted to say thank you soo much for everything, someone like u can change the world, the energy, the vibes, the smiles, the motivations you give to ur fans are unexplainable i swear, u might be overwhelmed right now but still helping us to get through this toxic way we were learnt, school didn’t teach me how to study, just learn for the exam to get good grades, this paper is important, study well on that one, and blah blah blah, they dont want me to learn like (learning new stuffs) they dont want us to do that, they just care about the mark u get, ur whole personality, life and everything is based on the marks u get, but u taught me how to learn in a different way, u dont know how much u changed me like- i dont know how to explain it🥲💅🏻 i appreciate all ur hard works with us 💌🌞
I have dyslexia and ADHD but I was only diagnosed this year with 19 years old. I always loved studying, however since 2018 I became extremely depressed and I hated myself for being dumb, I don't even remember the past 4 years bc of that. Now that I know I have ADHD and dyslexia and I'm not dumb, I just need patience and love! I'm starting to rebuilding myself all over again and it's so hard but, for the first time, I acknowledge my existence and it was an exhausting journey to get to this point! I know that I exist, I know who I am and I know what I want to learn and what I want to be good at it!!!! I'm still uncertain on how I'm gonna gain money and if I ever gonna have a financially stable good life but I know who I am and I know I want to learn how to play piano, learn new languages, get into college to study psychology and build a strong connection with my mind and body!!!!! I'm terrified of not getting into college next year bc this year was something new for my mental health and now I only have 3 months to study to this extremely difficult exam but I believe in myself this time and I know I can learn!!!!!!! Your videos are helping me so much to connect with this part of myself that I lost a long time a go, seeing your happiness talking about knowledge makes me remember of my 9 years old self! Thank you so so so much.
i was literally soo stressed trying to understand moles then came across your video.it completely changed my mindset.also the three reasons why i love studying:to get into a good uni(maybe even get a scholarship),to feel accomplished and productive,to make my parents proud.
My 3 reasons: The added heart pain makes me forget about all the other pains I have When I'm done I'm so desperate to got to sleep I actually sleep instead of laying in my bed like an insomniac I can rant to my family after the exam about how everything I focused on was a 1 marker and all the stuff I skimmed over showed up everywhere in grave detail. Got chem triple science GCSEs tommorow and I don't know how to spell tomorow. I got 55% in the mock a week ago but like 78% in the mock before and currently my best bet is that its a zig zag pattern and ill get another 7-8 as a result of it cuz the exam is actually today. Its 1:37 am. I'm supposed to be cramming chem but I'm cramming reasons to study and none of them are working. At 1:38 am on exam day. Every time I want to change tabs I see valorant in my taskbar, go online and my friends can't play because their marking the 8 predicted mocks they did and i didn't know existed. Wish me luck.
Your point about studying quieting the mind resonates so so much, it’s so therapeutic to be somewhere completely different for a while. Thank you so much for this video, it’s helped me find motivation on a difficult day. Also, your highlighter looks really cool!! My 3 reasons are 1- it helps quite my mind 2- I can have lovely conversations with people about these subjects 3- the subjects I’m studying help me understand myself and other people better so that I can have more meaningful connections
I love the positive attentioni get from my educators... they are more supportive than parents sometimes I love the confidence of knowing that there's this one thing in the world I'm good at I love the gratification that comes with cracking a concept i've been grappling with - challenging but fun
I love learning because it makes me appreciate my own company. I love how it keeps me centred and knowing that the joy I have is all because of me, within me, I created it.
I love studying because 1) It makes me feel validated that I have the ability to learn, not to meet other's expectations of me, but to prove to myself that I can set my mind to whatever I want to reach 2) I am grateful to take what I want to take from the things that I am studying. I feel equipped with the knowledge of how to better absorb knowledge movingforward, even if I hate the subject I am currently being taught. 3) I feel powerful and able to overcome adversity in all it's forms. Academically this is so important to me because having adhd makes me become told all the time whether meaning to or not that I am incapable of learning in many aspects. This is fundamental to me for these reasons.
I have no idea y im here while i study in middle school and this channel has content for alevel and university students But i was in need of this. 2 weeks left for my finals to start and i have made a whole to do list with nothing done yet. We have got a week for eid holidays. In thee holidays i have lost all motivation to study. This would be very helpful. Tyy jade
Jade, it feels like you have been studying for like 100 years. Whenever I check your channel you're still studying for something or other and it feels like an odd sort of timeloop. It is good to see you still enjoy it and have not been burnt out after all these years.
I love studying because it helps me understand things. I'm able to understand not only a concept but how other people view that concept and apply it by studying. I'm also able to show myself that I'm dedicated to improving myself and learning new things. and studying allows me to get really excited about certain topics and develop my own opinions about them. this video helped a lot since I have IB exams this week and I'm usually stressed about studying. I had to take a step back from studying in the last few weeks because of illness and physical ailments, but it's made me love the process much more and I value it more because I know when it's not possible to do it.
I love to learn because 1. Someone has a similar problem like me and they wrote a book about it. I don't have to figure it out by myself. It's like having a friend. 2. My parents can only teach me what they know. If I want to know more than they know and go places they didn't than I have to learn more. 3. Learning is a way for me to cope. If people are always learning and innovating then there is always hope for a better future compared to what I am currently experiencing.
This couldn’t have come at better time Jade! I just watched the first part and I’m in a deep burnout as a senior in HS. I finished up final exams but I have no strenght to study for uni entrance exams. I am not sure what i want to study in the future n I’m scared I’ll go no where :( I used to be an all A student but since the beginning of the pandemic my academics downfalled with my bad mental health.
3 reasons why i love studying: 1. feeling prepared for anything 2. the blissful "clicking moment" of when a concept i have been struggling with clicks in my mind and i get it 3. it makes me feel truly productive, like i have so many opportunities in my life
Three reasons I love studying: 1) The feeling you get after having worked really hard on something, and you're exhausted but also incredibly proud of what you've achieved. 2) The way your new information makes your look at things with almost fresh eyes with a more deeper connection to the world. 3) That tingly feeling you get when you're learning something new and you can relate to it or it inspires you and the world feels so much wider.
1. It gives me the sense of community on a larger scale: those who came before us and researched it and those who study the same thing all over the world now 2. It makes me less judgmental : for example, my country is going through crisis, people argue about political situation and often express ideas that seem absolutely atrocious to me, so, I learn about mass psychology and ways in which people adopt to circumstaces, that helps me to understand thatsome people (those who don't massively influance the situation) are more of scared victims 3. It expends my identity - in comparison to thing that add more to posessions
I AM VERY MUCH AGREE with your first point, bc learning does really make me less anxious and quite my mind, good to know that someone other than me also feel that way .
1. It’s enjoyable, knowing all the new things you didn’t know they exist that they are there. 2. Occupy your mind and time so you don’t spiral into negative thinking and worries 3. Make me feel I’m doing what I need to be doing, and I’m using my time in the right way-as I committed to an educational programme- and I relay on me.
I love learning because it makes me feel proud of myself, makes me succeed and at the end I am satisfied with the thing I do. I am currently in a big procrastination phase and I am fighting with it for a long time now... And I hate this feeling of disappointment when I remember how organised and always prepared I was in high school. That was the time, when I really exceled and I loved literature and writing. Now I study polish language and literature with editorial studies and I really hope I will regain my passion. When it comes to learning languages it is an incredible satisfaction when you actually are able to read and watch movies in this foreign language. For me it was a tuning point because it is totally diffrent experience to read in english. Like you're giving yourself the opportunity of feeling the completly diffrent mindset in communication and using words.
I love to learn new things every day! It makes me feel confident and I know exactly who I am becoming. Right now I’m studying Human Resources, Psychology, and Neuroscience. I love that they are connected and the more you know more about the human mind and the way of thinking. Such as why they decide certain things, why they take a certain approach, etc. Later on, I will continue to take study World History too. Everything on this earth is so interesting 🧐 Reasons I love studying 1. Makes me become a better person and one day I can have my footprint on this earth 🌍😊 2. Realize there is so much more to discover in the world 🌎 3. Knowledge is power and it also makes me wiser 🤓
I love studying because knowledge empowers me to be able to work on making the world a safer, more beautiful place I love studying because I get to see how broad the world and reality is, and how there are amazing people that created knowledge to transmit it I love studying because it gives me a sense of purpose thank you
i have to say this You are like the first ray of sunshine in the morning .You radiate warmth. You make me hope for best things. I love your thoughts ,they make me think abt myself. thankyou for making such wonderful videos
I'm rn struggling with studying because I need to submit my master thesis within 3 weeks. But I try to look at the positive sides (you're inspiring to do so). I love studying because : I have the feeling I'm becoming more and more intelligent, studying in master is really a passion because I got to choose a special topic that I love and I'm passionated about and third because I can be proud of myself when it's done ! :)
ah the Bulgarian hairdresser story warmed my heart, as a Bulgarian myself, I am glad you learned about our spring tradition! 😌 lovely video, as always! :)
4 reasons why I love studying : 1)I just like discovering new things about the world and expending my horizons 2)constant learning gives the opportunity to choose better career,to be more successful in your job 3)at times when learning is hard, i become stronger and more stress - resistant 4)I feel myself valuable and good person thanks to books, that give me knowledge and books, that teach me moral values Thanks for another amazing video,Jade❤️
1. I like the fact that it shows how much I know, 2. I love the grades I get, they might not be the best but they are definitely better than last time 3. I love the fact that my parents encourage me to do more (even tho more often than not i don't really want to)
The thumbnail is soo beautiful jade!! I'm writing my a levels two days and this video was just what I needed . Thank you for being an inspiration to me everyday Jade! ❤ 💜
Finals comming so ... I love studying because 1. It broadens my horizon (originally from Poland, studying in the UK, with exciting internship coming up!) 2. It allows my to do what I love (team pilot girls 👩✈️) 3. It makes my feel fulfilled 💪 (+independent) 🦋 My casual magic of the day is singing with my ukulele 🦋
honestly i've never been one to 'love studying' but im trying so here are my three reasons to do so! - it gives you a, while temporary, goal to work towards and gives your life more variety - i love finally understanding concepts and the satisfaction that comes with it (the moment you finish a puzzle) - i love trying to improve
My three reasons of loving studying are applying useful knowledge to my real life, learning more about myself like how to stay focus, how to discipline and having opportunity to learn. The last one really hits me because I have never thought about it before till hearing it from you. Thank you for inspiring to love learning more.
Hi Jade, I enjoyed this video, thank you for the reminder of the beautiful things and helping us appreciate the gift of study, even though it's challenging at times! :) Three reasons why I love study: ~ the way learning something new can lead you on a path of discovery to find new interests of yours. ~ The way you feel when you go out into the world after learning something new and realise you are seeing things in a new way, with more understanding of how they came to be that way, and begin to think about how they may change (for the better) in future. ~ That Aha! feeling when you're writing an essay, and the ideas and insights finally connect in your brain. Lots of love your way. x
3 reasons why I love studying: -discovering my true passion and enjoying the sense of satisfaction of getting closer to my goals and dreams -knowing that there's a higher chance that I can surround by people who share similar values with me -exploring the world, whether it is past, present, or future
I have a math exam tomorrow and i always work super hard but it disappoints me when all of that goes to vain and I feel the need to decrease my confidence and "humble" myself by having lesser expectations, I'm trying to have the right mindset for tomorrow and just focus on doing my best. I can do this, I can I know I can, heck I love maths, that should outshine my priority of "getting a perfect score" even though I really want to do so. I promise to take care of myself and romantacize the process instead of stressing over it and yeah, we've got an exam to ace! wish me luck I really hope i do well
I’m Greek and we have the same tradition ,every 1st of March we tie red ribbon in our hand .I just found out that Bulgaria has a common tradition with Greece , thank you .
I have been following you since you were doing GSCEs and I was starting uni, now I am finishing my Masters degree and about to start a PhD. This semester is my last semester of "formal uni education", and I still find your videos so helpful and inspiring, especially when I need motivation to pass those last requirement credits to graduate and oh boy it's a struggle. But I keep reminding myself why I am doing this and keep, and your videos is a great way to do that
This is so motivational! Thank you. Also AAH MY COUNTRY IS BEING NOTICED! As a bulgarian I also wear a bracelet every March and take it off when I see certain birds or a fully bloomed tree! I sure love Bulgarian tradition ❤️
Thanks so much for inspiring me and helping me realise why I love studying Jade! 1. I love becoming an “expert” in my chosen subjects and realising that I know more than the average person on that subject because the time, energy and brain space I put into it. Looking back on study notes and going ‘wow, I’ve learnt all this stuff I didn’t know existed beforehand’ is so cool. 2. I’ve always been curious and asked things like ‘why does this happen?’ ‘What causes this?’ And particularly through chemistry and human biology, I can use my scientific knowledge and go, ‘maybe it’s because of this process’ etc. So being able to sometimes work out the answers for my own questions is awesome 3. Over the last little while, watching my marks go on an upward trend (there’s always some that aren’t so good, but generally my total marks are inching upwards) and realising that it is the effort that I’ve been putting in to understand, learn and memorise these concepts that’s allowed that to happen is very rewarding.
Why I love stuyding: 1. i love being able to connect dots, make sense of complex issues 2. i love seeing how much knowledge there is to acquire and how many amazing people have lived/live on this planet 3. i love being humbled by information. cheesy one, but i'm running out of ideas haha
1. Because it is difficult, life comes so easy to me and challenges that shake me up is interesting 2. The position it puts me in, studying insures a better future and if studied hard enough the top of your class 3. It gives me purpose, I dwell on social media for hours which makes me feel like a couch potato but studying just hits the spot 4.👑 It makes me proud not a lot of things make me proud of myself but studying is one big exception
Reasons why I love studying: 1- It gives me knowledge which I can apply in real life, I can correct people who doesn't know about specific topic still talking wrongfully. 2- It will open many doors to earn a good living. 3- It always feel interesting to learn something, I can't imagine myself studying nothing even if I make a lot of money.
This is sort of random, but I wanted to tell you that I Love your hair! I love that even though it’s not always perfectly coiled and shiny, it’s still gorgeous. I have very similar hair (in length and texture) and I always feel insecure when it’s not perfect. Watching your videos has made me see it in a new light, so thank you.
Studying is more interesting for me because i felt like I am the director of the movie (study topic) and traveling with it in a flow state and completely felt nothing of the world and makes me imagine and understand the particular concepts. I don’t study only for getting marks but rather use marking system as a challenge system for making my study way more interesting. Just in love with studying ❤️❤️
Me thinking about how your make up always looks so good and then realising towards the end when you mentioned it that you probably don't often wear make-up on-camera. Keep on being beautiful! :)
3 reaaons I love studying: - it helps me to connect with others and build deeper connections - i like spending alone time musing quietly - it teaches me to be more open minded Ps. Thanks for motivation Jade, you always make my day :D
I love how this comment section it's just so much inspiration! 💓 A lot of interesting people met in one space, everyone have their own stories, I wish I would know u all, because even in this online space, I feel safe, loved and respected 💗 * sorry for any mistakes, I'm not a native speaker
I love studying because just as you it allows me to create my own bubble and to not think about anything else. I also love it because school is a place where I can be with my friends and meet new people. And finally, I am a very curious person and I love to discover and learn new things so studying is a great way to entertain this part of myself I guess ;)))
"you can only meet people as deeply as you've met yourself" is the one sentence that always gets me PUMPED to learn something new
i never thought i'll find you here damon. much love.
Aww I love thisss
I love learning for the lightbulb moment you mentioned. When you don't understand something, but then all of a sudden it randomly clicks, and like the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle falls into place and your entire perspective shifts so dramatically, my favourite feeling! The other favourite feeling regarding studying is the flow state where you just forget everything around you as you focus intently on the task at hand, and time flies super quickly.
agree absolutely 👍🏻
Same here 👍🏽
Same here
Couldn't agree more😌
Definitely agree!
Number 10 really hit me. Sometimes we forget about the privilege we have. Studying is a gift; learning gives us the tool to understand and be free. Thanks Jade for remember us this.
3 reasons why I love learning
1- makes me feel a sence of power that i didn't knew existed within me ✨
2- the confidence i have in my day to day conversation with people
3- gives me this new perspective to see my life 💖
1. It makes me feel smart. (That might sound dumb but I don't always feel smart and when I study something and understand it, that changes how I feel about myself.)
2. It challenges me to go out of my comfort zone.
3. When you have a certain type of knowlegde, you can help people. I want to study psychology and everything I learn I can apply to something in my life. That makes a difference in my opinion.
the same here especially the first reason
With finals just around the corner this is so helpful because I’m definitely guilty of procrastinating due to being tired of studying. Thanks for the motivation I need to be productive. Good look on exams everyone! 🙏🏽💛
Girllll I find you in the comment section of almost all the youtubers I love . Keep writing such wholesome comments 🌟😌
Thank you and good luck, you're doing your best ☀️
Actually the actual spelling is 'luck' not 'look'
3 reasons I love studying:
1) It makes me feel accomplished and confident
2) It opens up new opportunities that I would not have without it
3) It means I can understand more concepts in my favorite booms, movies and documentaries
The makeup looked lovely Jade!
Couldn’t agree more. Thanks for sharing!
amazing ... I love chemistry, GOOD FOR YOU I hope you got the mark you want
But fortunately, I realized that I shouldn’t hate something just because people
keep telling me to do it. I should keep the original intention. Now I’m trying to bring back the pure, true heart that just simply loves learning when everything’s
quiet down. ❤😌
Thank you for making this video to remind me the importance of studying, knowing why you’re studying, and the true passion of it.❤
I can definitely relate to this, now I don't even like anything, I just live, go to school and I'm always tired...the thought of studying gives me migraines.
1. I love working through a tough subject and then finally understanding it.
2. I love being able to challenge my underlying biases and perspectives.
3. I love being able to hold interesting and meaningful conversations with people.
with my a levels in a week and a bit it has been difficult recently to remember why i love studying but....
- i love having moments of sudden realisation and making connections across subjects (like when i realised the leader of a rebellion in my tudor history course wrote one of the poems we study in english)
- i love being able to explain interesting things to people about what ive learnt and answer their questions
- i love the act of sitting down in a quiet space just with myself and getting really focused on one thing. i love the self care part of studying, choosing the playlist, making tea, getting comfy
Cheers from Singapore
that lens analogy is very true... it's used in psychology
Reasons I love studying:
1. The more I learn, the more I can understand the world
2. It will give me the tools to make a difference
3. It empowers me and gives me the ability to challenge people's attitudes - I think this is really important, especially as a girl, because then no one can say that you don't know what you're talking about or you're not good enough
also thanks for making me realise how lucky I am to be able to study and getting me motivated! I've got A-levels next week and I was feeling really stressed and just didn't have the motivation to revise but after watching this I'm ready to start a day of revision!
PS: good luck to everyone doing exams right now! We can do this!
I love learning because
1) It Empowers me
2) It gives me new ideas to improve myself
3) As you said it is a gift or a chance by which we can made a huge change around us and improve our society
Ugh same! Good luck with your courses 🙏🏽
@@khalilahd. and you too! 🙏
I can't explain how much Jade's contents are helping me to get motivated. It always makes me feel so happy to see new contents ^^
The power of knowledge is irreplaceable !
my reasons:
- in order to change the world for the better, i have to understand it. i can't just walk into a social movement without understanding the struggles of the people affected, the history behind it, viable alternatives to the status quo, etc.
- i LOVE making associations between different things i've learned. the similarity and relatedness between individual psychological state and how the socioeconomic system works, power in physics and power in society, how and why certain cultures share customs and social norms, how and why different systems of oppression are actually very similar! it's like detective work :))
- i get more interesting and able to impress people. by having a tiny bit of knowledge of every topic, i can talk to many different people about their job, hobby or field of study - even if it's just by asking the right questions! and i can show off the things i'm actually good at, like knowledge of humanitarian and social sciences.
i’m a French 19 years old girl and a biology student.
My casual magic for today was seeing a huge snail that was so deep brown it looked purple :)
As a Romanian person living abroad, the Bulgarian hairdresser story really moved me in a way
I am sure you made her day ✨✨
I love studying because
(1) It gives me new perspectives, lens as you said and helps me to see and understand the world more clearly
(2) Studying and learning is the only thing that I can proudly say “This is my thing, this is what I love, what I am good at!”
(3) It’s a unique world with only me and the knowledge
just started using skillshare by clicking on your link and I love it so far !!!
1) i love studying because, we have so many things to discover and research about the world like a humans existing in the world and to answer for question 'how the world is built'
2) it opens so much opportunities to apply to a dream university, apply for dream job and so on. You feel yourself confident when you can qualitatively discuss about every theme in a group and openly share with your opinion about it. You become open-minded and your outlook about the life, studying opens up from a new perspective and your can look at the world from a different angle
3)it much better than scrolling instagram, tiktok or whatever social media.
My reasons:
1) I love to understand things that explain the world around me. Like that lense you talked about.
2) Good teachers can make learning so interesting and created some of the most magical moments in my life
3) Solving one task after another can be really rewarding.
Thanks for making me realise how lucky I am to be able to study and to do so on topics I'm passionate about
as a muslim fan, u really helped me alot, like alot, the 3 reasons i love studying 1-the more u learn the more powerful u will be in every way 2- in islam seeking knowledge is something that allah (god) loves, its like a big deed, god said i love those who are seeking knowledge and that’s why i want to learn more even i know it needs risks 3- u made me realize alot of things, we have an opportunity to learn, but there are people who wants it very bad but cant because they dont have enough money, the way you talk about learning is adorable! it makes want to be like you, im trying to learn as much as i can from u because school is in 3 weeks, im going to grade 10th , im excited, nervous, anxious, great, i cant tell if im happy or sad, last year i didnt do well, but im trying to change it, deeply in my heart, im afraid to step out of that prison in my head, but i know thats gonna change everything, freedom, im gonna try my best this year, and i really wanted to say thank you soo much for everything, someone like u can change the world, the energy, the vibes, the smiles, the motivations you give to ur fans are unexplainable i swear, u might be overwhelmed right now but still helping us to get through this toxic way we were learnt, school didn’t teach me how to study, just learn for the exam to get good grades, this paper is important, study well on that one, and blah blah blah, they dont want me to learn like (learning new stuffs) they dont want us to do that, they just care about the mark u get, ur whole personality, life and everything is based on the marks u get, but u taught me how to learn in a different way, u dont know how much u changed me like- i dont know how to explain it🥲💅🏻 i appreciate all ur hard works with us 💌🌞
Sublime video 🤗.. Learning/Acquiring Knowledge, Skills is Mother herself... that's why Learning is Self-Love
Literally just watching jade BRINGS a huge smile on my face. she’s so bubbly and cute 💘🥺literally had a smile on my face throughout this whole video!!
My 3 reasons:
The added heart pain makes me forget about all the other pains I have
When I'm done I'm so desperate to got to sleep I actually sleep instead of laying in my bed like an insomniac
I can rant to my family after the exam about how everything I focused on was a 1 marker and all the stuff I skimmed over showed up everywhere in grave detail.
My 3 reasons are
1- it helps quite my mind
2- I can have lovely conversations with people about these subjects
3- the subjects I’m studying help me understand myself and other people better so that I can have more meaningful connections
I love the positive attentioni get from my educators... they are more supportive than parents sometimes
I love the confidence of knowing that there's this one thing in the world I'm good at
I love the gratification that comes with cracking a concept i've been grappling with - challenging but fun
I love learning because it makes me appreciate my own company. I love how it keeps me centred and knowing that the joy I have is all because of me, within me, I created it.
This is so helpful, university can make you feel so discouraged and overwhelmed and this helped me calm down a bit
I love studying because
1) It makes me feel validated that I have the ability to learn, not to meet other's expectations of me, but to prove to myself that I can set my mind to whatever I want to reach
2) I am grateful to take what I want to take from the things that I am studying.
As a student halfway through their A-levels, this was the motivation I needed.
I have no idea y im here while i study in middle school and this channel has content for alevel and university students
But i was in need of this.
It is good to see you still enjoy it and have not been burnt out after all these years.
same she's always studying which is cool!
I love to learn because
I am not sure what i want to study in the future n I’m scared I’ll go no where :( I used to be an all A student but since the beginning of the pandemic my academics downfalled with my bad mental health.
same :(
Good luck on your uni exams!
Same!!
same! hope we both end up getting into good unis and having good marks
3 reasons why i love studying:
1. feeling prepared for anything
2. the blissful "clicking moment" of when a concept i have been struggling with clicks in my mind and i get it
3. it makes me feel truly productive, like i have so many opportunities in my life
Three reasons I love studying:
1) The feeling you get after having worked really hard on something, and you're exhausted but also incredibly proud of what you've achieved.
2) The way your new information makes your look at things with almost fresh eyes with a more deeper connection to the world.
3) That tingly feeling you get when you're learning something new and you can relate to it or it inspires you and the world feels so much wider.
1. It gives me the sense of community on a larger scale: those who came before us and researched it and those who study the same thing all over the world now
2. It makes me less judgmental : for example, my country is going through crisis, people argue about political situation and often express ideas that seem absolutely atrocious to me, so, I learn about mass psychology and ways in which people adopt to circumstaces, that helps me to understand thatsome people (those who don't massively influance the situation) are more of scared victims
3. It expends my identity - in comparison to thing that add more to posessions
As someone who has a levels in a few weeks this is amazing!!
I AM VERY MUCH AGREE with your first point, bc learning does really make me less anxious and quite my mind, good to know that someone other than me also feel that way .
her smile!! it's so capturing. just wanted to say.
Great work btw!!
1. It’s enjoyable, knowing all the new things you didn’t know they exist that they are there.
2. Occupy your mind and time so you don’t spiral into negative thinking and worries
Everything on this earth is so interesting 🧐
Reasons I love studying
1. Makes me become a better person and one day I can have my footprint on this earth 🌍😊
2. Realize there is so much more to discover in the world 🌎
3. Knowledge is power and it also makes me wiser 🤓
I love studying because knowledge empowers me to be able to work on making the world a safer, more beautiful place
I love studying because I get to see how broad the world and reality is, and how there are amazing people that created knowledge to transmit it
I love studying because it gives me a sense of purpose
thank you
Your presence is really refreshing ...I was sad till now but by seeing your video it really made me refresh and inspired
i have to say this You are like the first ray of sunshine in the morning .You radiate warmth. You make me hope for best things. I love your thoughts ,they make me think abt myself. thankyou for making such wonderful videos
Only hearing your voice makes me happy and motivated you re so positive
I'm rn struggling with studying because I need to submit my master thesis within 3 weeks. But I try to look at the positive sides (you're inspiring to do so). I love studying because : I have the feeling I'm becoming more and more intelligent, studying in master is really a passion because I got to choose a special topic that I love and I'm passionated about and third because I can be proud of myself when it's done ! :)
ah the Bulgarian hairdresser story warmed my heart, as a Bulgarian myself, I am glad you learned about our spring tradition! 😌
lovely video, as always! :)
your perspective on studying is honestly something i aspire to have someday Jade!!
4 reasons why I love studying :
1)I just like discovering new things about the world and expending my horizons
2)constant learning gives the opportunity to choose better career,to be more successful in your job
3)at times when learning is hard, i become stronger and more stress - resistant
4)I feel myself valuable and good person thanks to books, that give me knowledge and books, that teach me moral values
Thanks for another amazing video,Jade❤️
I love learning because it’s empowering!!:) as you said, especially for women. Education is key if we want to change the world that we live in :)
1. I like the fact that it shows how much I know,
2. I love the grades I get, they might not be the best but they are definitely better than last time
3. I love the fact that my parents encourage me to do more (even tho more often than not i don't really want to)
The thumbnail is soo beautiful jade!!
I'm writing my a levels two days and this video was just what I needed
. Thank you for being an inspiration to me everyday Jade! ❤ 💜
Finals comming so ...
I love studying because
1. It broadens my horizon (originally from Poland, studying in the UK, with exciting internship coming up!)
2. It allows my to do what I love (team pilot girls 👩✈️)
3. It makes my feel fulfilled 💪 (+independent)
🦋 My casual magic of the day is singing with my ukulele 🦋
honestly i've never been one to 'love studying' but im trying so here are my three reasons to do so!
- it gives you a, while temporary, goal to work towards and gives your life more variety
- i love finally understanding concepts and the satisfaction that comes with it (the moment you finish a puzzle)
- i love trying to improve
My three reasons of loving studying are applying useful knowledge to my real life, learning more about myself like how to stay focus, how to discipline and having opportunity to learn. The last one really hits me because I have never thought about it before till hearing it from you. Thank you for inspiring to love learning more.
Hi Jade,
I enjoyed this video, thank you for the reminder of the beautiful things and helping us appreciate the gift of study, even though it's challenging at times! :)
Three reasons why I love study:
~ the way learning something new can lead you on a path of discovery to find new interests of yours.
Lots of love your way. x
3 reasons why I love studying:
-discovering my true passion and enjoying the sense of satisfaction of getting closer to my goals and dreams
-knowing that there's a higher chance that I can surround by people who share similar values with me
-exploring the world, whether it is past, present, or future
But I keep reminding myself why I am doing this and keep, and your videos is a great way to do that
I enjoy learning because I get accomplish things that I would not have accomplished if it wasn't for learning
This is so motivational! Thank you. Also AAH MY COUNTRY IS BEING NOTICED! As a bulgarian I also wear a bracelet every March and take it off when I see certain birds or a fully bloomed tree! I sure love Bulgarian tradition ❤️
It is difficult not to like this video. The amount of wisdom and persuading arguments make something wake-up inside of me. Keep it up lovely Jade!
So being able to sometimes work out the answers for my own questions is awesome
3. Over the last little while, watching my marks go on an upward trend (there’s always some that aren’t so good, but generally my total marks are inching upwards) and realising that it is the effort that I’ve been putting in to understand, learn and memorise these concepts that’s allowed that to happen is very rewarding.
Why I love stuyding:
1. i love being able to connect dots, make sense of complex issues
2. i love seeing how much knowledge there is to acquire and how many amazing people have lived/live on this planet
3. i love being humbled by information. cheesy one, but i'm running out of ideas haha
09:03 how lucky are we to live in this day and age !! Never agreed more
You are such a joy to the world, thank you
1. Because it is difficult, life comes so easy to me and challenges that shake me up is interesting
2. The position it puts me in, studying insures a better future and if studied hard enough the top of your class
3. It gives me purpose, I dwell on social media for hours which makes me feel like a couch potato but studying just hits the spot
4.👑 It makes me proud not a lot of things make me proud of myself but studying is one big exception
Reasons why I love studying:
1- It gives me knowledge which I can apply in real life, I can correct people who doesn't know about specific topic still talking wrongfully.
I have never watched a video with so much attention. Your words were absolutely motivating 💗
this video came at exactly the right moment! i was just sitting at my desk to start some revision and the notification came up! just perfect.
Thanks Jade! I have an intense week examwise and I really needed!!
3 reaaons I love studying:
- it helps me to connect with others and build deeper connections
- i like spending alone time musing quietly
- it teaches me to be more open minded
Ps. Thanks for motivation Jade, you always make my day :D
I love how this comment section it's just so much inspiration! 💓 A lot of interesting people met in one space, everyone have their own stories, I wish I would know u all, because even in this online space, I feel safe, loved and respected 💗
* sorry for any mistakes, I'm not a native speaker
I love studying because just as you it allows me to create my own bubble and to not think about anything else. I also love it because school is a place where I can be with my friends and meet new people. And finally, I am a very curious person and I love to discover and learn new things so studying is a great way to entertain this part of myself I guess ;)))
