    One of my viewers (engphys09) suggested using a 1 oz pump for incredible suds. Here is the info he provided: You can find it at Autogeek: www.autogeek.net/gallon-pump.html. I can confirm that it fits the DIY Detail gallon jugs perfectly! It mentions that it dispenses 1 oz per dispensing pump in the description.

    100% agree with the ease of use of Incredible Suds. It is super slick, foams very well, and does its job in cleaning and providing lubrication (I do foam-rinse-foam method). Love the product, but it's super thick. Most of the time I end up making a mess trying to remove the product from my measuring cup with my fingers and sometimes I feel like I'm wasting product if I don't. I have used all of these and carry two of them as permanent stock. Personal preference too plays a part, do you want a product that floats dirt off as it falls, or do you want something that clings waiting for you to blast it off. One point on the Koch Chemie GSF is that, from what I understand, they recommend, its 20mls, for a foam sprayer, like an IK, not for a foam cannon, still looks like a nice product. Hi Bruce. Respectfully, I have to take issue with your impression that Clean, at 1 ounce, was a high performer. Unless your video clips were out of order, there looks to be a significant similarity (not to imply exactly the same) between Shampoo+ at 1 ounce and Clean at 1 ounce. I would temper my observation to say that Clean was not quite as runny, thin and “rejected” as Shampoo+ but I perceive much more similarity with their foaming and cling performance than you do. I’m not sure how to explain this.

    The best cleaning power is what matters to me. Foam is irrelevant if it does nothing to paint

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for sharing. Foam also serves as key factor in lubrication prior to the contact wash. I typically don’t rely on most pH neutral shampoos to do much of the “cleaning”. I tend to leverage an alkaline pre-wash foam if I’m expecting the soap to clean. Appreciate you adding your perspective and what works for you.

      @ sweet! Welll consider me a new subscriber! Any plans to do a similar comparison for Rinseless washes? I’m almost out or DIY Detail and I was thinking of buying ADD Hero, Clean by Pan Rinse-Less or Koch Chemie Rrw.
      To me what is important is 1st slickness to avoid scratching/marring, 2nd would be cleaning ability to remove dirt, road grime, oil and bugs and 3rd would be scent and 4th is cost.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ Thank you so much. I don’t have plans on the Rinseless front as I’m not the best on testing those characteristics. They are subjective and require similar dirt/bugs (Yes, I’m a bit of stickler for methods), etc. Plus, while I love using Rinseless when I can’t do a full wash, I tend to mostly use foam and regular contact wash vs rinseless. I need to change my ways 🫤

      @@Bruces-Garageha. No worries! I have bought a lot of products and have my pressure washer and multiple car shampoos/soaps from DIY, CarPro, Koch Chemie, Adams and more. I’m excited to try Pans stuff, he’s getting way too much hate for pursing his passion and creating products with quality ingredients. I will tell you that CarPro Lift is terrible! 😂
      I’m not going to lie though, washing a car with “rinse-less” is much less work. lol. I also don’t have a super sweet setup at home, I have to get everything out and set up every single time. So I’m sure that if it wasn’t for that, it would be easier to do the traditional foam canon. Which is definitely more enjoyable, but for me just a lot more work. i never know how to conduct these tests. i feel a full load of water in a foam cannon will always require more than 1oz of shampoo. where as 20 oz of water 1oz will get that thick stuff we all want. but will 22oz in the cannon make it all the way around a large suv or truck like a small suv or sedan. and in the moment am i going to 2 bucket method or foam rinse foam, the latter requiring more product 😜🐿️💨
    also a great tip for thicker more viscous products, use a long spoon i.e a teaspoon for mixing tea’s. i like using the marked mixing cups. measure your product out add a bit of water and stir well to get every atom of that product into your cannon, bucket, sprayer. it also helps to pre dilute so it doesn’t all sink to the bottom of your containers in a big clump 😜

      @AndreasSchwarzinger 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ but that‘s not what the respective brands claim. They claim those products are pH neutral in the concentrate, which is factually not true. A pH value of 8 or 8.5 is alkaline, and there is no two ways of looking at this as the pH value os absolutely and clearly defined in chemistry and science.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I suppose you can take it up with them. They are both branded as pH neutral and honestly that is only slightly alkaline and as I said when mixed, are going to be lower. I certainly would not compare these soaps to those that are marketed as alkaline which have an even higher pH.

    if i may be so bold to request, i’d love to see your take on foaming on quick beads in a foam cannon.
    i’ve found 1.5 to 2 ounces in 20 to 22 ounces of water is more than enough to foam on a small suv (bronco sport/mazda cx5). and to be honest that maybe a bit much, i can make it all the way around the vehicle and back to use the entire load in the cannon.
    after the rinse off the drying process is nothing short of amazing. the benefit of quick beads getting into and providing protection in the cracks and crevices where normally protection products don’t touch is also great 👍🏽🐿️💨

    7:31 why in the world are you foaming a car with obvious ceramic coating. It won’t coat properly nor will it cling. Watch it … it just runs right off. Waste of time .. sorry.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Foaming a coated vehicle is normal practice. You still need lubrication. Why in the world would you NOT foam a vehicle before the contact wash? I always foam and never have an issue - except when using such a small amount, such as 1 oz. Incredible Suds and CLEAN both foamed well at 1 oz; GSF and Shampoo+ both foamed well at 2 oz. May I ask how you would propose safely washing a coated vehicle? I typically foam-rinse-foam to contact wash or if I’m using solely rinseless, I pre-spray with rinseless.

    • @edjack3364
      @edjack3364 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ Cleaning a car is not the focus of this video. It is to test the quality of the foam and how long it clings .. then lubricity etc. Foam will not ‘cling’ to a coated car. Of course you take that into consideration and can still ‘clean’ the car, but that isn’t what is being tested here.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @edjack3364 Agree to disagree. It will not cling in the same way as it does with a non-coated car, but yes it does and is expected to cling. What I was testing was how each product foamed and clung under the exact same conditions, using a coated vehicle and 1 oz of foam in a full foam cannon.

    • @OCD-Detailing
      @OCD-Detailing 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Personally, I would have performed the test on a non-coated vehicle.
      When it comes to cost/oz, I think it’s irrelevant to the DIYer. If we foam our vehicle 2/mo, we are talking a difference between the four products of about $2.00/month. And based on sales /promotions that are always offered by these companies, it becomes even less relevant .
      Well above cost ( when products perform similarly) I choose based on the channels that educate! DIY Detail does a great job as well as Pan. Sharing of knowledge is worth a lot more to me than saving a couple dollars a month.

    • @Bruces-Garage
      @Bruces-Garage  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @OCD-Detailing Excellent points! I chose cost as a factor because several viewers raised the issue when I first looked at Pan’s shampoo, so this was sort of a follow up. But you’re right, we don’t look at cost the same way a business must.
