Listening to this song when I was a kid, I didn’t fully understand it at all. All I know is that it’s a breakup song and the tune of the song really moved me despite being young and naive.
After almost 10 years, I just experienced my first breakup and gosh I bet my younger self wouldn’t thought of actually relating to this song at all hahaha.

i waited for him for almost an entire month. i thought he'd come back telling me he still wanted to try his best for me, but he didn't. he said he didn't want to do this anymore. i remember playing this on repeat as he came back and we were talking.
it was so bittersweet, i was so glad he came back but on the other hand, i was hurt. i thought he would think i was worth fighting for, but i guess not. and now my hand is finally empty. i love this song so much. it still hurts but i don't think any other song other than this can describe what i'm feeling rn. it might be a program singing and not a human, but this song still means so much to me.
